This location location had great service, coffee was always filled & the food just tasted a little better over the other... location. I was going to give this place a five star till.... Well as i was eating, my food & coffee were being harassed byfruit flies. They just kept coming till I finally left. If it weren't for the flies everywhere, this would've easily been a 5star go-to location. Maybe upon my travels back here, maybe that problem would go away. Thank you for separating my omelet &pancakes. The oatmeal was good & the homefries were just right. Take those pesky flies away & this was a top notch place. Read more

Simply the best - my go to place when ever I'm in State College. I recommend the Corned Beef Hash. It's delicious.

This was my first visit to the waffle house for breakfast. Even though it was off season at penn state college (due to christmas... holiday break), the place was buzzing and we had to wait a bit to get seating. I ordered a platter of eggs, bacon and potatoeswith a muffin. It was just perfect. Even with a large crowd, service was quick and efficient. While in town for a graduation we got the chance to try this location of the popular Original Waffle chain. Even though it was... very busy and with a line out the door, we were still seated probably within 15 minutes. The food, service, and experience wereall excellent. Can?t wrong with this local favorite in State College. There is almost always a line outside, but it moves super quick. We were... wrapped around the building and only waited 10 minutes to be sat. The food comes out fast for how busy they are. The bacon is byfar the best here at the Waffle Shop over anywhere in the area. It?s super flavorful and thick-cut. The red-skin fried potatoesare seasoned to perfection, and of course how can you forget the amazing waffles. One of the top spots for breakfast. Read more
