Reviews for Sushi Kai in Stateline, NV
I was skeptical to try this new place because of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I made a reservation for Easter... weekend on OpenTable and found the customer service and food very good. The fish was fresh and we liked the ambiance. I thinkit's easy for a new restaurant to get hard critics when they first open, because they need time to work out the logistics. Food is terrible. I wish I could say I?m exaggerating, but we went for sushi (hence the name, sushi kai), and I can honestly say... that it was the worst sushi I?ve had at a restaurant. Also way too expensive for bad quality. I hope this review (and reviews tocome) helps them to realize they need to make a change. Read more
Slow service (under staffed, our guy was?t terrible but we were there on a Sunday and they had only one server), terrible food... (seriously, every dish was disappointing. No flavor, someone needs to rethink the dishes), and terribly over priced for thequality of food. Environment and menu looked great, but after our meal there was just no redeeming quality for the waste of timeand money. Skip, and head somewhere (anywhere) else instead. Read more
