Very beautiful restaurant. My girlfriend and I loved the interior design and the intimate atmosphere. Perfect for a date night.... We got wings for appetizers and wow absolutely phenomenal. One of the best wings we've had. For entree I got the chicken pepperpopper ( I think that's what it was called) and my girlfriend got the stuffed chicken with mushrooms. Unfortunately I did notenjoy my entree. It was quite rubbery and overcooked but my girlfriend's was a lot better she really enjoyed it. For dessert wegot the mudslide chocolate with vanilla ice cream and WOW it was breathtaking. Best dessert I've had. The ice cream had thisbeautiful texture to it. The chocolate mudslide cake was just amazing. Also we had a caramel cappuccino to share which wasequally as amazing. I wish the entree was as good as everything else cause that would have been a perfect meal. We woulddefinitely want to go again and give this place a second chance to get the entree right like it did with everything else. Read more

Food was delicious, atmosphere amazing, service impeccable. Try the $45 pre-fix dinner, comes with your choice of appetizer,... entree and dessert. The watermelon salad was a balance of sweet and pepper. The steak melts in your mouth. The apple crumble wasless sweet, making it a perfect contrast to the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Highly recommend for a quiet date night orspecial occasion. Read more

food was great, service staff were super friendly. I tried the alligator bites for the first time and was not disappointed.... It’s super clean and has great seating. It’s good for big groups (10-15) or just single solo hang outs in the bar area.Plenty of drink and food options, highly recommend this place Read more

I came here for my birthday bc I been wanting to try this place for a while now. It always smell delicious passing by. I been... to New Orleans and miss the food so I wanted to come here with my bestie. my fav is the avocado seafood salad. It was seafoodheaven. Fresh not fishy and so good. I love the flavor. Love the free bread, so crunchy and soft. Fried Calamari is sodelicious and flavorful. Drinks were strong yet very easy going down. Bestie loved the jambalaya the most bc she enjoyed thecalamari. Didn’t love the chicken. But the mushroom on top and the gravy was nice. We had creme brûlée for dessert it wasvery nice. Short rib was a lil sweet and dry, But i liked it, would go good w rice. bathroom a box gets the job done. (2) Read more

Decided to surprise my wife tonight with reliving one of our most favorite trips we took in 2021 to New Orleans. This place was... amazing from our waiter (Brian) who did such an amazing job he was always very attentive and very professional and polite. Weordered a little bit of everything to get the best experience as possible. We started with the New Orleans Mussels, GrilledAlligator bites, Lobster bisque soup and Arugula and beets salad with goat cheese( picture was blurry) but that salad is soamazing all flavors were amazing and the dressing was just right amount of sweetness and richness from the balsamic vinegar. Then we ordered dinner i ordered the seafood jambalaya which was perfection all seafood was cooked to the right texture andtenderness so full of flavor. My wife got the lobster tail stuffed with crabmeat over risotto which was so good. We ended ournight with dessert, i ordered banana fosters and pecan pie ( yes i was a pig) but i couldn't hold back now. Lol and she got theapple crumb cake. All desserts were amazing. I wished my banana fosters had a bit more carmalized color but the fireworkspresentation made up for it. Loved our experience overall I'd definitely go again. Was an amazing time. Thank you Bayou andBrian for making our date night that much more memorable. Read more

I made my first visit to Bayou today and I was real excited to finally try Alligator for the first time! Everything I ordered... was absolutely delicious from the Bayou Lemonade to the Avocado Fries to the actual Alligator Burger. The restaurant itself isclean and beautiful and service was really good. It was worth the short trip from Brooklyn and I will definitely be back again! Read more
