Came here for lunch. Was seated right away. Very romantic ambiance. We sat indoors with the view of overlooking the water. Staff... was really friendly. Food was really delicious too. This is another place my cousins and I decided to try on our visit to New York. We made reservations for this place as well and... were seated pretty quickly when we arrived. We all had the crab stuffed lobster with cheese risotto. This was my first timetrying risotto and though I like the flavor i wasn't a fan of the texture. The Lobster was ok. I wish it had just a little moreflavor but the crab stuffing helped it out. Our server was nice and we received good service. Nice happy atmosphere. Looked likethe staff enjoyed working there. Mix feelings about this place. Firstly, we were served with a chipped plate at a fine dining restaurant ???????????. Secondly,... been awhile coming to this place so I asked our server if they still have that thick bacon as appetizer ???? on the menu and Iwas told that they do have a left over bacons from the burgers lol WOW just WOW. I’m like did she just said left overs?! I waslike no thanks but I’m glad she’s honest though. I wonder what else are left overs from what we had ???? I asked for thedesert menu and server told me she’ll wait for me to finish eating then she’ll give it to me. Waited a bit but couldn’twait no more so asked another waiter and hand it to us immediately. The rest of the food were delicious and it’s a romanticplace but as mentioned mix feelings. Blu is always good. Nice view of the Hudson. The food is really good. The prix fix menu is a great option because it's all... inclusive except drinks. But they also have a 90 minute unlimited drink option for a reasonable price. My crab stuffed lobstertail with the risotto was so good. The wait staff are amazing as well. Read more
