While the Manhattan Chipotle customer service experience can be dicey, the customer service at this location is top notch. The... staff was genuinely happy and in a good mood. I was asked what I wanted to order with a smile and as my burrito bowl was beingassembled, the crew was still smiling and having a good time while still working incredibly efficiently. Some of the othercustomers were maybe a lingering a bit awkwardly, perhaps stoners. Some other patrons thought it was appropriate to eat out inpublic wearing sweatpants that reveal the entire shape of the buttocks. I certainly cannot blame the staff for the quality ofclientele. I do hope that as Staten Islanders see the quality and offerings of our local services improve/upgrade, they will,in kind, elevate their own dining experiences with improved social behaviors. My friend & I were excited to finally try the new plant based chorizo I ordered $30 worth of food for us online. I bought the... burrito bowl for me & a burrito for my friend that was supposed to have the plant based chorizo on it. At first they couldn?tfind our order then finally they found it. Once we opened the bag & started eating our food we noticed there was no plant basedchorizo AT ALL!! My burrito bowl looked very skimpy with only 3 shreds of lettuce. My friends burrito looked very skimpy withbarely anything inside which is a shocker considering chipotle is known for their large size burritos. Everything looked veryrushed & put together very sloppy to the point we lost our appetites. We tried to go back so they can fix their mistake howeverthey were closing & claimed they threw everything away. Brittany told my friend that they ran out of plant based chorizo at thevery last minute & claimed ?they tried to call us.? That?s clearly a lie because my phone number is up to date on my account & Inever received any calls at all from them!! Let alone they should have told us during pick up that they ran out of the plantbased chorizo. Instead they gave us sloppy scraps which is not even enough to fill up a toddler!! These guys are awesome and definitely should be recognized for giving back to the community!! They donated meals to our NYC... health and hospitals test and trace corps!! One of the kindest gestures ever, since they know our break times are non existentand we visit a different community everyweek!! Super polite, super friendly, and most of all, it makes me absolutely elatedwhen I see an establishment correctly enforcing the social distancing guidelines!!! If I could give 6 stars I would!
