I've personally never had an issue at Empire Szechuan, I personally think that the food is better than any of the other places... I've really ordered from (ex: Chopsticks). One noticeable difference is when I order sesame chicken from Chopsticks they usuallyhave rubbery chicken but when I ordered from Empire Szechuan they had some of the most tender chicken I've ever had from takeoutat pretty much the same price, I definitely recommend. A lot of people complain about the prices but honestly it's pretty muchthe same as most other Chinese takeout places, we're living in New York, everything is overpriced. Read more

Ive been ordering from here for years. Never again after today.. Place has gone down hill fast and gotten out of hand... expensive. I ordered a General Tsos chicken, some dumplings and a few soups - $120 bucks.. ??????? The guy on the phone isyelling at me that he can't here me after each item I order although he's clearly repeating everything I'm saying... How TFcan't you hear me if your immediately repeating my order back to me? I give him my credit card # and expiration - he yells "OK"and hangs up.. Unbelievable.. You won't get my business any more. There's plenty of Chinese restaurants here who appreciatetheir customers. Read more

I ordered BBQ Spareribs and a Qt of Wonton Soup on 6/10/2022 at 8pm. The soup was ok. All of the Ribs were Fat n Dry and I just... threw them all away. Starving. I'll never eat their food again! Read more

The general tso's chicken just tasted like syrup and the pork fried rice was cold and not cooked completely. My S.O had stomach... issues for a few days after eating at this spot. The workers were exceptionally rude and the place was dirty. We will not returnand do not recommend you waste your money. 0/10 Read more

I have no experience with this establishment but I got a menu flyer in the mail and I must say that his prices are ridiculous... and I?d never pay for mediocre (3.6 rated) food such a high price!! We all remember the days of the?70?s and 80?s when placeslike ChinaTown( Hylan Blvd & New Dorp Lane served superb food at a third of the price and it was top quality bulging off theserving platters and out of the take-out containers!! I have been coming here for twenty years. Not only is the food fantastic BUT the combo is the absolute best bang for your buck!... So many local places have combos that barely fill me! These guys? Two meals worth....easily! Had the most delicious egg rolltoo! Highly recommend this place! Read more
