I have been a loyal customer of Jade Island for over 20 years and my past experiences have always been outstanding. Last night I... went to dinner with 6 other family members and the quality of the food was subpar. The noodles were hard and stale, thedumplings cold, orders of General Tao’s chicken were over cooked with little chicken and the Chicken & Broccoli contained allbroccoli with a few pieces of chicken. I explained to the manager that the food was subpar and he thanked me for telling him. Iam extremely disappointed with my experience and will now have to find a different restaurant to bring my family. Read more
Jade Island has withstood the test of time. Outstanding selection, quality service, delicious food - what more can someone ask... for? Wish I took some photos of the decor, it is exactly the same as when my family would dine there 30 years ago yet it looksbrand new - a true testament to their dedication to their customer's dining experience. If you live on Staten Island and havenever been to Jade Island, it is a must visit and I can guarantee will turn into repeat visits. Read more

The wait staff is so friendly and attentive. The food is terrific and with the Family Special that includes the best pistachio... ice cream. Been coming here since the 90's and would recommend. Read more

Massive portions, but its quantity over quality. The sweet and sour chicken wasn't very good, but the fried rice and general's... chicken were. Depends on what you get whether or not its worth it. Cool presentation on the platter though! Read more
Delicious drinks in a fabulously retro setting with a huge menu of options. Between two people, we got the Jade Island Special,... the Pina Colada, the Headhunter and the Scorpion. If you get a separate glass and combine equal parts of the Scorpion with theHeadhunter, you've got a winning combo. The food was good; there were no problems with the vegetable dumplings, the shrimptoast, the rumaki or the house chips. Our server was very efficient and checked in on us regularly. Read more
