What to expect: this is a family owned Moroccan restaurant. They cook delicious food, you can taste good quality ingredients,... they pay attention to details in their dishes. The flavors are absolutely amazing. Preparation of good food takes time. Ifdinner takes you an hour, be prepared to spend a bit more time here. In my opinion, it's absolutely worth it. We've orderedHarira soup, which I very much recommend. The ingredients were balanced like a tightrope walker. Lamb tajine was otherworldly. At the end, Moroccan tea with baklava transported my mind straight across the Atlantic. Read more

I love this place! I keep coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for new dining options on Staten Island. The ambience... is warm and welcoming, and the owners are just the same - they treat you like family and make every visit unique and special.Last night, I had the chicken bastilla (pictured), a classic and iconic Moroccan dish. My friend and I noticed this place while driving in the area and came in on a whim. Best meal we?ve had in a long time!... Delicious, authentic, homemade Moroccan food. We had a superb meze plate, the best grape leaves I?ve ever had, shared anincredible lamb tagine and finished up with baklava and lemon pie. Moroccan mint tea finished things up and the service was kindand attentive. We?ll definitely be back to try out the other delicious looking items on the menu. This is a hidden gem! Read more

This place is a gem. It?s the best restaurant that I?ve been to on Staten Island and possibly in all of NYC. The service was... impeccable. The owner was so welcoming and we felt right at home. Although it was my first time, my friends and I were greetedlike we were all old friends. The chef is a true master of her craft. The plating was gorgeous and the flavors were familiar andyet so bold and fresh. We rounded out the meal with Moroccan mint tea which felt like the perfect end to such a cozy and warmevening. I hope this place gets the recognition it deserves! *Pic: This was the Lamb Shank I think. It was fantastic and haslittle bits of slivered almonds which sounds odd but it was a surprisingly nice combo. Read more
