We had a 70th birthday dinner at Esca on 10/30. I can?t give enough praise for this restaurant. Starting with booking the... event with Allison. She was very helpful in her suggestions and recommendations. And very pleasant & accommodating to ourrequests. The day of the dinner went flawlessly. The food was exceptional and plentiful. And all the staff was amazing aswell. Kudos to Danny. He was great. I live in Brooklyn and we have plenty of restaurants. But I highly recommend thisrestaurant for any occasion or just a night out. My husband and I celebrated our seven-year wedding anniversary at Max Es-ca. Our waiter, Gregory, was top notch and should... probably be teaching his craft at a hospitality school somewhere. The food was absolutely amazing and beat every expectation wehad. We will definitely be returning here and bringing friends with us next time. Read more
The staff and the service was very good. Tony was our server and he did a great job. Other than the pleasant service, there was... no reason to go to this restaurant. I ordered the breaded pork chop and it was the worst pork chop I can remember eating. It wasoverloaded with balsamic and the meat was incredible dry and tasteless. We also ordered the cavatelli special and it wasbasically a bland pasta salad as an entree. It was surprisingly bad. The gnocchi was ok but not tasty and the gnocchi were largeand not cooked properly. It's all basically diner food. There are many other great restaurants in the area that are deserving ofthe expense of going out to eat. Read more
Yes yes yes!! It?s been so long since I Had a great steak and this was the perfect choice. I got the beef Wellington. The meat... is incredibly tender. I mean, a geriatric without teeth could easily gnaw on this wonderfully tenderized steak. The flavor isgood and it?s paired with spinach and mashed potatoes on a bed of sauce that compliments the entire dish. The atmosphere of therestaurant is clean and the service is excellent. god i love this place. i literally recommend everyone i know to come here. they have the friendliest service, best drinks, fun... classy atmosphere, and the food gets 5 madones always. i literally lived off of their cold seafood platter and watermelon margsduring covid. my pockets were sad and empty but my tummy was happy and full. their nyc strip, mingotz. get their espressomartinis too , take my word and an uber. I had my mother?s retirement here and it was perfect. We had it in the back tent and it was so pretty with the fairy lights.... Everyone loved the food and they even took a special order of Spinach Fettuccini for my cousin because its her favorite dishthere. Went here for my fiancés birthday last night. This was my first time dining here and I was so impressed. The food was so... delicious, and our server Gregory went above and beyond for our party and was very very accommodating. Definitely will be comingback.
