OMG! The attention to detail is superb! I ordered delivery for the first time ever based on reviews plus I have never tried... eating at the restaurant as of yet, (but, now I will have to). I ordered the ravioli and it had tiny parsley flakes to garnish!I’ve never ordered ravioli where they organize the raviolis spread out with just the right amount with some garnish. Next, Iordered the brick oven chicken cutlet with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella in a mushroom wine marsala with a side of salad. (Iam thinking one cutlet with a small salad)…. No, I get the opposite, TWO cutlets both topped with red peppers, prosciutto, andfresh mozzarella and the side salad is a good portion with olives, fresh tomatoes, olives, red onion, and cucumbers! I also gotthe garlic knots with a side of sauce and a piece of tiramisu. I applaud of this place for their attention to detail, taste,freshness, superb customer service, and fast delivery. I love pizza! I lived on the island for 20+ years and moved away. I came back to visit recently. I found that Mimmo’s was on a... top 5 pizza list so was very to eager to try. I ordered a regular cheese pie. It was pretty good but I had better pizza fromother places. To me, the bread is very important - this pie was too tough, like it was stale. Had good amount of cheese andsauce (bit on the salty side for me though). While waiting for my order at the restaurant, I noticed they make Nutella stuffedzeppole! Had to order! Though it was freshly made, they were not stuffed. I am used to zeppole shaped as knots but these werejust folded up lol. So if the menu says “stuffed”, shouldn’t you get “stuffed”? Lastly, everywhere it says $14.70 fora regular cheese pie but he charged me $16. I ordered over the phone and I paid cash too. Odd. Read more
