The smell always lures me in.. I ordered some food to take home and while I was waiting there was a young man who was taking... care of all the orders at the counter. I was a waitress for 20 years and the customer service industry is hard! Especiallydealing with people who are hangry! This young man named Gerard was really impressive, he packed the orders promptly andpolitely called names or numbers, if there was an issue he apologized and fixed it. Once again I get home to find that while we specifically ordered thighs which they give us all breasts. I hate this place. You... literally have to make them open the box to check what they gave you. Which I failed to do, once again stupidly relying onPopeyes training of their employees to be able to identify different parts of the chicken. I already said I wouldn't go back tothis place, but my wife wanted some Popeye's and at twenty minutes away it is closest to us. It's my own fault for thinking theyhad changed. I understand mistakes happens, but when it's constant, then its recklessness. The workers are absent minded, inadequate and... unreliable. They conversate so much among themselves that they forget to pay attention to details. Two separate times Items havebeen missing in my order. First time i was charge for a Banana cake that i never received, then another time, my entire order of$25 including biscuits and shrimps were given without a single condiment even when i specifically called the restaurant afterplacing the order to ensure no mistakes, they ended up doing exactly just that. I purchased some chicken wings and they cooked them fresh but, when I got them back to my office we bit into them they were... under cooked. I made a complaint and Popeyes was very honorable and apologized and offered to give me another fresh order ofwings. I appreciated that and will get my fresh wings on another trip there. Read more

Once I order I usually wait about 10mins for my take out. It is worth every second ! The chicken is always hot and fresh. It... stays piping hot the whole way home. We all know how disappointing old Luke warm fast food it..and I have never had thatexperience here. The staff is always lovely and helpful. They always let me know if there's a better deal than what I walked into order. Also my orders are always accurate! There's another closer location to my house which I bypass to drive 15min to thisForest Ave location. The closer one to my home has let me down with missing items and luck warm old food several times. Notonce have I been disappointed at this location though ! PS easy to access. Large parking lot. I just had the worst dining experience of any fast food restaurant. After buying a meal and sitting down, I go to eat my mashed... potatoes. There was no spoon provided with my meal. I go toward the registers and politely ask for a spoon. The manager told meto go to Stop & Shop next door to get my spoon. They were out of supplies. Instead of walking to Stop & Shop themselvespreemptively in anticipation for their customer?s needs, they advise for their customers to stop eating, walk out of therestaurant, and come back after begging for free utensils from the nearby supermarket.
