I love this place! Huge portions, smiling staff, clean restroom, and the food is just delightful. I had a cheese steak sandwich... and it is better than anything I've eaten in months! Wonderful Italian bread, fresh with the perfect crust. It's a very largesandwich perfect for two normal people. Of course I ate the whole thing by myself and had fries, which the cook was delighted todrench in brown gravy at my request. Just like I grew up with in Saskatchewan. Not a poutine, fries and gravy done right arebetter. The perfect blend for comfort food. If you are having a bad day, Ronnie's will turn it around. Such nice people in avery busy place. Large sandwiches are just colossal here, and they're quite delicious. The chicken cutlet with vinegar peppers has both... traditional roasted red peppers and these green peppers with a nice vinegary bite. Definitely add fresh mozzarella. The friedeggplant with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and the same pepper mixture is outstanding. Add a little balsamic glaze to play offthose vinegary peppers. The fried calamari is dynamite! Hit up Ronnie's again this morning for breakfast and had to add this review of the south-west omlette. Got it made with egg... whites (doctor's orders) and I was very impressed with the food's subtle flavors. The sauce drizzled over the top makes thedish. Read more
