Good octopus. Nice oysters my friends had. Decor inside was very aesthetic and warm cozy atmosphere. Service was friendly and... the runners were very nice and efficient. Free bread is always a plus. We started off w drinks they were nice and strong. Nonalc tho, is palmers I was not a fan maybe cause the thyme.. Oysters were cool the lil tabasco sauce was so cute. Pasta wheelmac and cheese were nicely cheesed w short rib an 8! Fried burrata were crunchy cheesy but was a bit of a chew. Risotto hadwayyy too much wine flavor almost like it got poured in with no water added to balance. But the scallops in it were amazing.!Octopus was nicely grilled and had a goos texture and the garnish of tiny potatoes and tomatoes were amazing, minus the pickledradish? The Richmond has this effect where you look at the price points and think, this is somewhat steep and when you food and drinks... arrive, you realize it's a solid choice! I ordered many small orders: the happy hour oysters, French onion soup, beet and quinoasalad, and coffee to finish. The ambience is modern with touches of gold and brass to lift up the plant flora motif which have astylish casual feel for dates and small dinners with friends. The oysters were shucked clean and none of them were murky butfleshy, smooth, and briny. All were a great size and crisp. The French onion soup was a touch over salted but had the crunchymelted cheese and delicious thick beef texture that's just the right amount of comforting. I loved the spicy ginger cocktailthat had a puckered punch and Tajín like sales rimmed on the glass. The beet and quinoa salad was filling but the yellow andred beets felt really over soft and didn't feel like they were fresh roasted or pickled, but still a refreshing hardy saladnonetheless. Additionally, it could've used more goat cheese and felt like pre-packaged crumbles. The restaurant started to pickup at 6:30pm and patrons reached from families, to date night crowd, and was more of a white crowd. The server was informativeand kind, steadfast with clearing the table and refilling water. Over all the meal was tasty, enjoyable, and a lovely semi-fancymodern take in Staten Island. So we order appetizers tuna tartar. It was delicious you must absolutely must order burgers there. I haven’t tried such a... great burger in there few years I believe. Our server was Aldo and he was great, made recommendations and was attentive to all of his tables. We had about 8 different... starters for our table and not one of them disappointed. The short rib Mac and cheese was one of my favorites. The wings werealso good, I’m not a bleu cheese fan but whatever they did to it was TASTY! Oh and the fried burrata, just wow!!! Themixologist made us some amazing spicy margaritas. I would definitely come back, and would recommend this for a girls night oreven a date night. Read more
Cozy atmosphere, great interior decor, drinks are good and there’s a nice wine and spirits selection. The food can be really... good or just ok, some dishes were to salty. Quiet for a Sunday, but very attentive service. They have some nice specials duringthe week. Read more
