I have HAD IT with this place! Drive thru is SLOW & always out into the main road, God forbid if you get stuck in the parking... lot- orders are ALWAYS wrong- they increased their prices by a few $ and made the portions SMALLER, food is old & cold- I'MDONE- Can't believe this place is still in business, you college kids had better get a clue, stop getting ripped off!!! The people in here are so nice and fun to talk to!! I love how they have it set up now and I actually enjoy the food even more.... This Cook-Out is as good as the original ones from NC. The "cook-out style" hotdog is the best if you like chili and coleslaw. Read more

Since it's only drive thru, I wouldn't really say there's an atmosphere. However, the food is great! Service is usually good,... cookout gets really crowded in the evenings and later hours of the day, just a heads up if you're craving cookout later in theday! Read more

Went through the drive through yesterday during the lunch hour and ordered a double cheeseburger, they took ONE tiny patty, tore... it in half, crisscrossed it, and served it that way. I know the economy is rough right now, but to go as low as ripping off yourcustomers is so sad.
