ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW & Updated Review under it: This cannot be the Chipotle that my fam loves. We both ordered the steak... burrito bowl. We were told they were ?out of rice.? Okay. $hit happens. Busy. Ran out of rice. Steak. 5 small pieces of steak.Ummm. So, no rice, 5 pcs of steak. I can see the bottom of my bowl. $12+ UPDATED: Definitely improved!! My kids LOVE Chipotle, however, this one is not up to par. When they make a bowl... it doesn't even come up to the top of the... bowl (Any other Chipotle they have to quash it down with the lid). There was a kid there constantly telling the girl on theline to take some out or "that's why we run out." Maybe you need to order more supplies! They didn't have a couple toppings...one was lettuce! There large bag of chips consisted of maybe a cup of chips. For our family of 4 each got 1-2 chips. We willdrive to another location if we want Chipotle. Do better! Read more
Went with my husband, (his first time to a Chipotle, ever) and it was kinda embarrassing. The restaurant was dirty, the food was... not like at any other Chipotle that I had ever been to, and I don't believe that the staff were trained right. Everyone was niceenough, but at 6:30 in the evening, they were out of everything. The woman making the burritos, bless her heart, was giving ither best, but the final product left something to be desired. I'm not sure if my husband will ever go back. Hopefully, they willget some better guidance and this Statesville branch will shine. Read more
Place was filthy while workers were standing around. There should be no reason why a new restaurant looks the way this location... did! Also out of chips one employee said because they didn?t have a chip person but there were at least six employees standingaround. As I was getting ready to walk out someone came in with two bags of food that all their meat was raw. Employees shoulddefinitely all be re-trained, Very disappointing and I will not be back to this location!!! Read more
My family and I decided we?d try the new Chipotle out today, it definitely wasn?t a good idea. The food was cold, especially the... meat. It was super bland tasting, even with getting several items in a ?bowl? which you?d think would add flavor. My wholefamily and I ate a little bit of it and threw the rest of it away and walked out. Definitely won?t go back to this location, asit doesn?t compare to other Chipotle?s we?ve been to. Staff was friendly, but restaurant was messy to have just opened up.Doesn?t look like anyone cleans tables after use. Very disappointed! Read more
It was okay. Took almost half an hour from ordering to us getting the food. Food was a mess and we were missing an item. Taste... was again just okay, there are plenty of better Mexican restaurants around for the price and quality. Staff was friendly though. Read more
Finally have a Chipotle in Statesville!!!! The building is brand new and very clean. The staff was very friendly and laid back.... This will definitely be the spot to go for so many Chipotle fans. The location is convenient and fast service. Great jobChipotle!!! Read more
I hate to leave this review but every single visit we have made to our location here in Statesville it never fails they never... have the ingredients that you want for your order. We've tried different times of the day, different days of the week. They'reeither out of the grilled vegetables or out of the corn or even out of chips. One time they were even out of the soft tacoshells. They really need to plan their ordering and preparing better. I've been to Chipotle in Hickory many times and they werenever out of ingredients. Also been to the one at Concord Mills multiple times when we go shopping there and again theirChipotle is never out of ingredients. Why can our Chipotle not keep up with the demand for their products. I understand they arenew but they really need to find out how the other stores work. Read more
