Visited around 5 pm on a Monday night and although it was pretty busy, there was no wait and we were quickly seated. The bread... was incredibly cute and the pumpkin butter gave it just the right amount of sweetness. My entire family got the baby back ribswhich were amazing and I highly recommend everyone try. The meat comes right off the bone to make it a delicious dinner. Thefried were also surprisingly very good as they were just the right amount of crispiness. To finish off the meal, we were servedpeppermint ice cream which is just what I needed to finish off this incredible meal. Seriously though, I?m all for replacingmints at the end of a meal with peppermint ice cream. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend everyone take avisit! Read more
We?re in town for just a night from North Carolina and decided to try this restaurant for dinner. It exceeded our expectations!... The menu had a lot of options and types of food. The homemade bread was absolutely delicious. Our meals were great and they gaveus a delicious free cup of peppermint ice cream. Unfortunately can?t remember the name of our waitress, but she was incrediblynice and helpful too. Highly recommend! Read more
Hadn't been here in such a long time. We were in town celebrating family & it was exactly as I remembered! We had Oyster... Rockefeller (easy on the bacon next time), Ribs & Chicken, Cajun Chicken Alfredo, Crab Cakes and Lamb Chops all delicious.Drinks were amazing! Service was great! Wow!!! The food here is delicious! We were visiting Staunton and was recommended to go here by our hotel front desk lady. It did... not disappoint! The place was bustling on a Friday night. We didn?t mind the wait for a table. The staff was on point withjuggling the hostess stand, answering calls, and handing out take-out orders. I overheard a conversation from a call in whenthey had to tell the customer that they were no longer fulfilling take-out orders because they were so busy. It sounded like theperson on the other end was giving the hostess a hard time, but she was very sweet to them and never lost her patience. Ourwaitress was great and the food was AWESOME! The bread they give you with specialty butter is so good. My husband got some ofthe best prime ribs we had ever tasted. We joked that we hadn?t eaten that good since our cruise last year! I got the artichokechicken and that was great too! They bring you a small complimentary ice cream at the end of your meal too! The atmosphere isunique- it?s an old flour mill.
