My husband and I went for fish & chips on Sat. We arrived at 6:10 PM and were seated. The waiter took our order and then....... We waited and waited. I spoke to him and asked why it was taking so long and his response was takeout orders were before us. We finally received our meal at 7:05PM. This is not fine dining. I found the fish batter doughy and I am not sure if the frieswere fresh potatoes or frozen. We gave it 1 star but should have been minus 5 stars. Read more
New to town ans first time at Bluewater was fantastic! The service was excellent. The food, when better. The fish was fresh and... flavourful. The batter was light and somehow not greasy. Same with the fries. This is fish and chips done right! Besides that,we accidently stayed nearly an hour past closing (new in town!), and were still treated exceptionally well. Huge apologies tothe staff, we were not aware of the time! Overall, truly good food. You shoukd eat there! Read more
Great tartar sauce! Really liked the coleslaw and the fish was fantastic. This is haddock but the wife loved her halibut.
I am a huge fish n chips lover, been to many, many places all over Ontario etc. I must say this is one of the best fish n chips... I have ever had. Everything is fresh and tastes absolutely amazing. However my reason for the 4 stars is the customer service.The customer service is the absolute worst. Tbh it makes me not want to return. This is my second time giving this place achance?and I don?t know if I will again. The white male that greets you when you walk in and can be seen taking orders is not apleasant person which is disappointing. Please do better!!! You have a great restaurant and great food but you are missing thereason why people come back and tell their friends about the wonderful experience they had. Read more
