We really enjoyed our time here at the Mambo Italiano. We were a group of four that were all visiting from different states as... tourists however I was local to Denver Colorado. This place is recommended by many of our staff guides through our trips withthe horse ride and white water rafting and even fly fishing trips that we all did. Due to the highly recommend the nature ofthis restaurant we decided to give it a go. Off the bat outdoor seating was perfect no rush around 4 PM and the weather waswonderful. Our server came with a very nice smile and she was ready to recommend us some specific things including the fact thatthey recommended a pasta exchange (other reviews I heard that they upcharged for this however) She was extremely consistent withdrinks and ensure that we had water bottles on the go to ensure that we were fully filled with water. Oh shoot was very goodand the fact that it was all house me pasta and extremely well organized as a decor platter but not overly fancy. I love thepresentation and the plates that I also saw pass by our tables. If I could get ahold of everything I would have just because ofhow beautiful all the other plates were. The case was also spectacular as there’s not much to say considering it is Italianand it’s perfectly seasons was a lot love lol. Parking was a little bit hard to obtain due to the fact that they had nottheir own parking lot so we had to park somewhere else about a block away. Most menu entrées averaged on 20 or $30 in somecases 40. It is more chance of an average Considering my Nana had loved her Italian food and to make it this was up to par onmy own Nana‘s cooking as well if it means anything. Excellent food! The fried artichoke had so many complimentary flavors, it was my favorite. If you order the baked brownie (I... forget the name of the dish), share it with someone! We could not finish, but the sizzling caramel on a hot skillet washeavenly. Really cool idea to have fresh pizza dough for kids to play with as they wait for food. Incredible food. The Mambo 75 (a twist on a French 75) was a delicious cocktail to start. The duck sugo was amazing: the crispy... duck skin and touch of kumquat added a really unique and delicious take on what could have otherwise been just another meaty redsauce. The pizza crust was nice and crispy with a nice amount of oil. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Read more
