Great local spot for locally crafted spirits, cocktails and food!! When you visit be sure to learn the story of how this place... came to be from the Navy Seal and his wife who founded the place. I highly recommend the Smoked Manhattan (pictured) forwhiskey drinkers and my wife loves thw Cherry Gin Mule. Visited this place and had an amazing experience. The bartender was great, we did a free tasting of different whiskeys. The... peanut butter whiskey was so delicious I bought a bottle. Great cocktails and the food is off the charts. The chef kept stoppingby to say hi and we even got some free sample food that she was working on. The GM gave us a quick tour of the distillery.Overall just an incredible group of people. If you are in town you must check this out!!!! Read more
I went to SWC while on vacation with my wife. While she enjoyed a clever cocktail, I did a flight of their spirits and we both... enjoyed some of their small plates. The food was stellar and it was some of the more distinctive whiskeys I've ever enjoyed. Iwanted to buy a few bottles to bring home, but my ski gear was thrown around mercilessly on the way there and I didn't think thebottles would have survived the trip home. Otherwise, there would be several bottles of the Storm Peak Single Malt in mycabinet. If you're visiting Steamboat, make a stop at SWC. Read more
