After driving for 3.5 hours into Steamboat it was great to sit down and have a really great meal. My wife and I both enjoyed the... duck special as well as a great bottle of white Burgundy. We also appreciate that there kids offerings are so good. Yes theyhave simple butter noddles (which were loved) but they also had a lovely salmon which my 7 year old devoured. Our server, Trip Ibelieve, was excellent. Yes the restaurant is on the expensive side but I appreciate the great food and service, and excellentwine and spirits list. I am willing to spend a bit more for that and happy I did. I would return. Read more

Thought about making a reservation here for our trip to steamboat this weekend but after reading the terribly inappropriate and... unprofessional responses from the business to other less than favorable reviews we wont even consider it. Why would we give ourhard earned money to a business that calls customers childish names in their public reviews?! Unreal. These people need to growup. Read more

We hosted our rehearsal dinner and wedding welcome drinks at Truffle Pig last weekend. The owner, Scott and the Manager, Mark... were AMAZING!! They helped us work all the details out, especially given the construction on the mountain, and made the eventflawless!! We are so lucky to have partnered with them and our guests loved the event. Highly recommend and we will see you allagain soon. Thank you so much!! Read more

We all know or are married to that one person who suffers from plate envoy.... appetizers, drinks, main, or even dessert comes... to the table and they are already longing for a "bite." During our recent visit to the Truffle Pig it happened again, the puppydog eyes, licking of lips, the passive way of asking / saying "OOO that looks good, how is it?" The portions at the TrufflePig felt great for one person, and even the "just a small bite request" which is never just a bite... Our favorites were: PorkBelly, Rib, Double Bone Pork Chop, Burger, Lamb, Ono, Braised Octopus and Dates. Even after paying the wifey tax we still had afew to go boxes. overall we really enjoyed our couples date night at the Truffle Pig. Mark did a great job of explaining thewines and bourbons we enjoyed and we will definitely be back. Read more

I have dined here many times, I especially like their burger and the Elk tenderloin. They also have bourbons that I had only... heard about until I sat at the bar. If you’re staying in steamboat this place is a can’t miss! Read more

This was our 4th time dining at Truffle Pig. As always, the food was amazing! The service was spectacular! The cocktail... selection was unimaginable! We were fortunate enough to meet Scott, the owner, and Mark, the manager, who were both the mostgracious and friendly people. It's obvious that they both love what they do. My family and I can't wait to go back as well astry their second restaurant in downtown (Carl's Tavern). Read more

A bit pricey but a solid spot for some delicious dishes. Ask for a special, the elk was amazing. The sea bass was good but was... like a soup. The salmon had amazing flavor. The bolognese was very savory. Service was great. Read more

Truffle Pig was by far the best restaurant we've been to! It has a perfect location right at the base of the mountain and an... awesome happy hour. The extensive drink menu is intriguing and very intricate! We each had two and they were all equally great. We started with a caesar salad and the pork belly mac n' cheese, and it was delicious. Our meals (the aged steak and also thepork chop) were paired perfectly by our server Mike with our drinks and really brought out the unique flavors of eachentree` We ended the evening with the best dessert, the key lime tarte. I can without a flutter of a doubt say it was the bestwe've tasted. A reservation is probably wise because this place is in high demand, and if you don't, I expect you'd be waitinga bit for a table. 10/10 would recommend. And ask for Mike, he is very knowledgeable!
