Just had a late lunch at Rich's today after a quick float on the river. Food was excellent and very friendly service. The best... part was their service to the community! As you walk in they have prepaid meal tags for folks in need. It made a BIG impressionon my 14 year old son. We made sure to buy an extra meal to hang on the wall as well. With our Party of 14. The food was okay, the service was good. The cleanliness could be better esp since such a small town... burger joint. (The flies) are horrible. The jalapeno mac n cheese bites are the best! For 6 adults and 8 kids with tip was $200so not hateful on the price. Read more
We eat here once a year when we are in town for our family reunion. It's pretty dang good. I don't think anyone has ever gotten... anything and been disappointed with it. This year I wasn't very hungry and just got fried mushrooms but they were super good. Read more
Let me just say I'm a burger guy, and my name is Rich, so this quite possibly could be my most important review!! Very... affordable! Very good food! Our waitress was sweeter than cherry pie! I got a massive burger and fries and my girlfriend got herusual chicken strips and fries. Everything was hot and fresh and SOOOO yummy!!!!!!! The parking lot needs to be a bit bigger,we had to circle the block several times to find a spot. We would have parked on the street and walked one block had we known.But that should tell you just how good this place is! The booths were more like benches. 100% wood and no padding. My guess isthey have so many people coming through to eat, the padding would wear out in a week! Normally people would take away a starfor those 2 minor things, but that didn't matter enough to me. Had family breakfast here during a float trip, and literally everything was AMAZING. The biscuits and gravy are some of the best... that I have ever had - the sausage gravy had amazing flavor, and the biscuits themselves were near perfect (one of my biscuitsas well as my husband's biscuits had pretty hard bottoms, but were otherwise perfect). I'm usually hesitant about orderingscrambled eggs when I go out to eat because most places overcook them and I can't stand it, but the scrambled eggs I receivedhere were great! Pancakes were fluffy and served with warm syrup. Hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.Will definitely be stopping here in future years for more delicious breakfast food! Not very impressed. It was ok but definitely nothing special. I had the Jam Burger on recommendation that it was the most... popular. I was hoping for a wow factor with the homemade hot pepper strawberry jam and was very disappointed. Nothing was hotabout it and as you can see from the photo it was just a smear on the side of the burger. The Texas toast was room temp cool. The couple of bites I had that included the jam were the best part but that?s not saying much. The fries were ok, but justfries. Everything could have used some seasoning. I am always on the lookout for a great burger and this was not it. Probablybetter than fast food but not much. Maybe they were just off today, I hope so. I will say service was good. I went there based off a story I saw only in my state. My gawd I was not disappointed at all. I ended up getting the jam with... fries. I ate those first because I hate cold fries. When I got to the burger holy cow that first bite was outstanding. My buddyand I returned the following morning and got breakfast. We got the loaded hash browns. The portion was outstanding I couldn'tfinish my toast but my buddy sure did. This place is a must go. Also you must try the jam burger. It's Texas toast bacon hotstrawberry jam peanut butter and a burger patty. Either 1/4 or 1/2 lb is available. Read more
