My wife and I have passed this deli for years and always meant to try it out. We finally did today! I've looked and I have been... disappointed with deli pastrami from various locations all over and Country Meat Deli is now one of my favorite two (the otherat a deli in Winnipeg). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the meat selection and quality very good and they haveinteresting in store food options. First impression is a great one! We'll be regular customers. Called ahead to see if they had what I needed and they said yup its just on the shelf. When I got in an hour or so later there... was none. Thanks for making me waste gas. Could have at least checked the shelf... Read more
Very unimpressed, called them to make sure they had a pork shoulder, they told me they did, I drove all the way down there after... being suggested by people online to buy from them. I will not be anymore. Read more
Great deli selection! Large variety of quality meats at very competitive prices.
My wife and I ordered there 3 freezer packages they sell to fill our freezer. The meat is awesome the portions in the freezer... packages is good . But the chicken i think could be a little bigger but other than that very good we will be ordering from themagain Read more
2 years ago I got my meat here for a BBQ tailgate cook off at Lilac resort. They were extremely knowledgable and helpful to the... point the butcher came to the front himself and helped me pick my meat specifically for what I was going to cook. I won the 2016cook off! When you win you can't enter the next season - you have to be a judge. So I entered again in 2018 and again went toCountry. Once again the butcher helped me pick my meat specifically for my cook and guess what? I won again! Lol. Shamefully I always forget about Country Meat & Deli when doing my regular grocery shopping and I REALLY need to stop doing... that! The staff is lovely and so helpful. The store is bright and clean. Worst service I?ve ever experienced in my life. Will never go back!! Unger Meats is definitely worth the extra few minute... drive. I was there close to closing at 5:50pm. I was indecisive of the cut of meat I wanted (as sometimes we are indecisive). I went back just as girl was closing the door. I knocked on the glass, as she was right in-front of door mopping. The two girlsinside looked at me and laughed. I tried motioning if they would be able to let me it- again, they both looked at me and laughedhiding so I could not see them. They could?ve had the decency to turn off their lights or even just go open and say ?I?m sosorry it?s exactly 6pm we are closed!? Read more
