Normally I quite like KFC, today's 6 piece chicken meal was exceptionally bad. Chicken was severely overcooked, desiccated rock... hard and overall very unpleasant. There was also something off with the coleslaw but on upside the fries were fine. I can'tbelieve I paid $30 bucks for this non edible chicken meal. I am actually quite shocked that they would serve something likethis. Sadly I will have to give Steinbach KFC a wide birth in the future. Read more
I am editing/updating my review due to the horrible experience we and many other customers had this evening. We ordered a... chicken sandwich with no sauce, it came with sauce. We were told 7 minutes for the new one, 15 minutes went by THEN were toldthat there was no lettuce or pickles left so the burger was now plain. Absolutely no effort was made to compensate for the messup, we should have at least been given our money back for the sandwich meal, but no, nothing. There was old cutlery and napkinson the floor and food remnants still on the tables. The women's washroom said it was closed but we watched as numerousemployees entered and used that washroom. Every customer that was served tonight waited a minimum of 30 minutes for theirmeals. Even the people coming from the drive-thru were filing in and having their orders corrected. This store needs to beclosed and/or managed by someone else who doesn't only hire family members. It's not following the KFC chain's standard/code ofpractice. Read more
One of the worst food experiences I've had in a while, unfortunately. We had ordered 2 large fries (One included in a combo... bucket, the other an extra). We went home to eat, only to find out they forgot one. We called them to let them know, and theyresponded with "Well, we put 2 fries in there". Uh.. no, you didn't. The person we talked to was rude, and didn't listen to usat all. Very frustrating. Read more
I have just spent 40 minutes sat after going in the Drive-Thru waiting for a four piece chicken dinner and then when it arrived... it was all dark meat with gravy instead of fries. No apology, was told I ordered it. I complained and asked for a refund. Theguy just argued about it. I don't know what has happened to customer service but they took it to a whole new dimension. maybeI'll lose a few pounds by not visiting there anymore, my gastank is a whole lot lighter too from the wait. I give this establishment a 2 star review because I went in with a coupon for a mega box of popcorn chicken and fries for $4 and... they gave me a medium fries and a 12 piece popcorn chicken in a mega box and said this was theyre mega size. Either there wasmiscommunication or they were skimping on the popcorn chicken but Im less then pleased to have paid so much for my meal to get12 pieces of chicken. Quite outrageous. Read more
The Colonel is apparently breeding miniature chickens. I should have taken a picture of the bucket. It was half full because the... pieces were incredibly small. This had happened before as well but the kids wanted fried chicken. Never again. $50 fornothing. Have had issues with being shorted gravy, waitibg long periods of time. No compensation for mistakes, being given toomuch dark and not enough white in the mix. It just goes on. I wont be going back anytime soon as there is an actual Canadiancompetitor in town now who has huge, flavourful chicken. Read more
