The worst Pita Pit I have ever been to. This poor girl was working there by herself on a Saturday evening and it was very backed... up. I ordered two of the same beef briskets and for some reason I ended up with one beef brisket and one veggie pita when Iopened it up. The smoothie sizes are a joke, I ordered a small smoothie and it came in a sample cup size, it should be called ababy size smoothie, it is literally a two sip drink... **UPDATED 2020** Feb. 2020 - Decided to give them another chance after a disappointing first experience. I was the only... customer in the store just after 5 pm. There was no one up front, but I could hear people talking in the back over the loudmusic playing. I could also see one of the employees through the window in the door with their back facing me, looking at theirphone. I stood there for nearly 10 minutes, and they just stood there looking at their phone, and talking with the otheremployee(s). Not once did they even glance or look up front. There was no bell to ring for service, and I felt it wasn'tappropriate to shout or go knock on the door. I got tired of waiting so I left and went to ZA pizza bistro instead. The serviceand food at ZA was great. I definitely won't be going back to this pita pit location. Sept. 2019 - Very disappointed. We lovePita Pit but this was not a good experience at all. There was a lot of confusion around my order of 2 pitas... not sure whybecause there was only 2 other customers (one in front and one behind). There ended up being 3 different employees that workedon my pitas. One pita ended up so badly ripped that it completely fell apart when unwrapped and the other one the chicken gotleft on the grill throughout the confusion and was very badly burnt. I'm very happy that we finally got a Pita Pit in Steinbach. Now we just need a Wendy's ? I went there today to get my Husband... and I some dinner, as it was way too hot to cook lol ???? Very friendly staff and good food as always. I ordered 2 Mighty ????Caesars; double meat and double cheese, very yummy! ???? My customer order is: Shredded lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pickles,pineapple, cheddar cheese, onions-peppers-mushroons on the grill, ceasar and chipotle sauce. The only constructive criticismthat I can give is; don't use browing iceberg lettuce ???? UPDATE: I've been here 10+ times now and each time has beenconsistent. I've tried the ???????? smoothie, the ???? ???? smoothies and the raspberry blast smoothie. All were delicious, butthe ???? ???? is my favorite. Went there on their second or third day open. The line setup is a little weird and could use some signage so you know where to... start. Staff was still training, so speed was not very good, however, that is to be expected with any new restaurant, and I canonly see it getting better. Staff were very friendly. Food was good, very simple menu and was filling. The only problem I wouldhave is that the price is quite high compared to other restaurants of similar food items. I can?t see myself going regularly dueto that reason only. But overall, a very good addition to the Steinbach food scene. Read more
