Service is great but the portions are ridicously reduced since new owners took over. Toast bread is thinner and eggs smaller... with less hasbrowns on the traditional breakfast for example. Left hungry after breakfast. Read more
I have not been to this restaurant in years and went with a work meeting just this morning April 6th 2022. I ordered the... Benedict classic which is their name for eggs benedict. It was absolutely fantastic, some of the best hollandaise sauce I'veever had. The shredded hash browns were literally done to perfection. My only complaint would be the ham was in lunch meat styleI prefer the thick cut style but honestly it still tasted delicious. I cannot speak for their lunch or supper menu as I have nottried it yet but if it's anything like their breakfast I'm sure I will be thoroughly impressed. We have eaten here a lot recently and thought it was a good idea to suggest it to our family for our 50th anniversary.... Disappointingly, we had to sit in the bar. Called in to the restaurant and made a reservation. The reservation was confirmed and upon arrival, the table was listed as... such.... However, the table was taken by another group and when we inquired, the waitress stated that the other group said theyhad a reservation but did not confirm the name. As such, our group of 10 (some from out of town) were forced to scramble to findanother place for breakfast. It was a major inconvenience. Very disappointed. Read more
We came here for dinner and again for breakfast because we were staying at the attached motel (which was an excellent value and... restful sleeping experience by the way). The r bistro is a lovely environment, a beautiful restaurant. Has an upscale feelwithout upscale prices. Fantastic attentive friendly service, Food portions were generous and delicious. We immensely enjoyedboth our dinner and our breakfast. Thank you to the chef and staff! Read more
Had not been here in years! Decided to go try it out again and we were blown away!! (And bc of that we have been back again... another 2x in the last month) Reasons I loved it: 1) it was quiet so it made for a relaxing environment 2) the service wasexcellent, professional & yet fun and down to earth. 3) The food was amazing! Food is pretty good but management needs to be more involved in service. It isn't servers' fault, they seem to be running all... over the hotel trying to serve multiple store fronts while customers sit there waiting. Some of the staff seem to stand aroundletting the others do all the work, and that's always a management problem. Edit: better on subsequent visits. Read more
My food was the right portion and delicious. Young Waitress was Awesome! She felt bad that the limes we got in our water we're... moldy making my water taste disgusting. She brought it to two new cups and fresh cut limes! My wife's filet mignon she orderedwas very chewy and no spices added. You never had salt to her dishes, yet had to do it this rounds so that's there is Flavorbesides just meat. Nothing like we've ever had before in any other restaurants. Very stringy. Read more
