Delicious burgers, perfect toppings, and great speed despite how busy it was. However, the one issue I had was that the fried... pickles were extremely salty, and the pickles were too thin so we could only taste the batter. Great place to eat. The staff was awesome and very friendly. I had a chili cheese burger and the fam shared the chip appetizer... that has salsa, queso and ranch. It was good. It's the fresh fried chips that set this place apart from other establishments. Ifyou haven't had them, you should go grab you some. Read more

Dropped in here with my son looking for a good burger. We were not disappointed. Grumps is a fun little place in Stephenville... Texas. The inside is decorated with an eclectic collection of stuff mostly related to Texas. We both ordered double burgers.They were huge! ????! One patty would have been plenty. We also ordered onion rings. They were great as well. Battered justright. I hate overly battered onion rings. Of you are ever in Stephenville Texas and want a burger, Grumpy is the place to go. Very good place like the food it was alil salty but still good very good service very fast
Nice atmosphere country styled for sure. Lines were long to order. Just have a seat and they bring the food out to you. Nothing... fancy plates are paper towels. Free salted peanuts place the hulls in the bucket on the tables . They have awards posted forbest burgers for this town. My mushroom swiss was maybe a 6 out of 10. Fries maybe 5 out 10 some fries were burn so you couldnot eat them. I say go here give it a try maybe just off day. Read more
3.7 at most.... The prices are okay. Breakdown of burgers; the regular and cheese burgers have nothing more special than a... Whataburger or if you know Red Robin's. The Queso burger is okay. $2 extra for the queso but not really worth the $2. If theycovered the burger with it generously that would make it better than just putting it inside the burger. You still need to eat itwith a fork. Onion rings were good. Cooked right and tasted good. Sweet potato fries were cooked right and good as well asregular fries.
