I came here once before when visiting family and enjoyed it, but tonight was amazing. I placed an online order around 7, an hour... before they closed, and got tied up. I called at 7:50 asking if they?d hold onto it until I got there and they did. I got thereat 8:20 and they had my food ready, everyone was very kind about me coming in after closing and the food was still nice andwarm. The food was great and the service was amazing! Can?t recommend this place enough. Read more

We ate at Sam and Louie?s for a wedding reception, and had a private room. While there were a few miscues around the food and... drinks, overall, I loved the atmosphere, which had a more upscale look for the area. Plenty of TVs for games, and the privateroom was also nice for gatherings, with a massive 70+ inch tv and large barn doors for privacy. The food was honestlyincredible- I got to try their lasagna, and the tortellini, which came with sausage and chunks of chicken. I topped mine withtheir special seasoning, which I highly recommend, and I would buy some next time! The food was honesty way better than I wasexpecting, and some of the best Italian I?ve had in a long time. As far as the service - we did ask for buckets of beers andmargarita pitchers, and they took the orders 1x at a time, which took forever, and the groom didn?t even get his Margarita. I?dprobably give it 4.5 stars just for this, but luckily the food and atmosphere made up for it. I?ll be back! Read more

I just love this Italian style brick layered pizzeria. You will find fabulous street side parking right downtown on Main... Street. As I approached the restaurant I noticed multiple customers enjoying the outdoor seating area which is slightly setback behind a black fence and a brick archway that holds USA ???????? and runs along the side walk. The open concept, rusticstyle was alluring and I couldn't wait to look around. Yep, I spotted the gorgeous bar ???? and dining area on the bar side. Themain dining area featured hightop tables and some booths. I just love theses large tables for dining. ???? I ordered thepretzel bites for an appetizers, the lasagna and a side salad with butter garlic bread. ???? The pretzels bites were melt inyour mouth amazing and the cheeses sauce was just as tasty. The lasagna was so fresh and the pasta cooked perfect. Stacked witha flattering sauce and melting cheese with plentiful herbs and a garlic blast! A delightful italian dish for sure. The foodtemperature was perfect, just enough to eat your meal comfortably. The wait staff was pleasant but not so much engaging. Greatplace for gatherings or just my yourself. Thank you for a pleasant evening. ???? Read more

Very good experience! Quality food, tasted great! Their cheese tortellini with grilled chicken was amazing! Slice of cheese was... also very good! They made a mistake on the order, called me before I even noticed and offered to correct it! Customer servicewas on point! Will definitely be back! Read more

I got the 12" chicken, bacon, ranch pizza with garlic parmesan drizzle and it was fantastic! It had huge chunks of chicken,... crispy bacon without any of those weird chewy pieces that a lot of chains have, an ample amount of cheese, delicious crust, andthe bonus of the garlic parmesan drizzle. Worth every calorie. Read more

Sam & Louie?s, on the picturesque Sterling town square, was a lunch lifesaver for us when we got off the barren I-76 wasteland... between the Nebraska/Colorado border and Sterling. The restaurant interior?s high ceilings and dark wood provided welcome relieffrom the summer heat. Our booth gave us privacy and the ability to ?people-watch?. Laughter filled the restaurant, coming fromseveral pushed-together tables of women who had gathered for some sort of celebration. Our waitress was energetic, cheerful andpatient when it took us a little longer than usual to decide on menu choices. The sports bar core of the restaurant, separatedfrom regular diners by booth walls, looked like it would be a fun place to watch an important game. The half-salads at Sam &Louie?s are amazing. This photo is of my half-antipasto-salad, which is still beautiful even though I took a couple of bites outof it. The lettuce and vegetables in the salad were so fresh and perfectly chilled, and the meats were delicious andmeticulously presented, rolled and held together with decorative toothpicks. The buttered, herbed roll melted in my mouth. Therestroom was very clean. I like that Sam & Louie's flies the U.S. flag. We were revived and ready to tackle the final leg ofI-76 when we finished. We have always had a wonderful experience at this place. Tonight just seemed off. Which is ok sometimes. The appetizer came... out super quick and you can never go wrong with pretzel bites. The one slice of pizza was super delicious (can?t remember thename.). The two main dishes, Chicken parm and Eggplant parm were just not as good, both chicken and eggplant were super soggyand hardly no taste, and sauce was basically red water. They did comp our drinks and we thank them for that. We willdefinitely go back though. Always give second chances!!! :) Read more
