I generally only rate places when I think their star rating doesn?t reflect how good the food/service is. Davis BBQ easily the... best BBQ I?ve had in MA. I had the brisket, burnt ends, ribs, beans and mac and chee. Burnt ends obviously stole the show,absolutely incredible, ribs also incredible. The brisket, I recommend ordering some of the fatty slices not lean. The servicewas also fantastic. Highly recommend. Read more
Excellent BBQ! Has a nice smoked flavor without overwhelming the meat. Thre ribs were very tender, not quite fall off the bone,... the way I like it. The brisket was tender and moist, best I've ever had. I also liked both of the two of three BBQ sauces Itried. Definitely adding this to our rotation. Read more
I'm from Kansas City and was traveling in the area. I saw they said they had Kansas City style BBQ, so gave them a try. Was... pleasantly surprised. The BBQ was as good as any you can find in Kansas City. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant hascomfortable modern decor, not like a lot of the dark wood BBQ restaurants. Were out of brisket, burnt ends, and ribs when we ordered. We got the 2 meat platter and 6 wings. For close to $50, servings... were very small, almost pulvarized, and too salty. Disappointing as we were hoping for a good BBQ place locally. Read more

My husband and I visited the restaurant today for lunch. We traveled from Boston but the nearly 1 hour drive was well worth it.... The service and food were excellent. My husband ordered the ribs 1/2 slab w/hickory pit beans and french fries and for me theketo bowl adding bacon and crispy onions. The smoky flavor of the ribs and chicken was superior to what we expected. If youenjoy the smoky flavor of meats, this is the place for you. We will definitely visit them again! Muy bueno! Read more
Absolutely amazing food. Carmen the manager came around and checked with each table to make sure everything was good. Had no... idea this was here and lived 5 mins away. Hearing people drove from over 50 miles at the table next to me had me excited to trythe burnt ends and pulled chicken which the girl at the counter had recommended. Read more
One of the best BBQ places I have ever been to and I am a huge critic of BBQ. The bowls were packed with flavor and the meat was... grilled to perfection. The homemade sauces were so delicious. Carmen and her staff were welcoming and accommodating form themoment we entered the restaurant. They noticed we needed a high chair and immediately provided us with one as well as puttingour stroller in a safe, convenient location. I will be sure to visit Davis BBQ on a more frequent basis.
