What a beautiful place! My husband and I spent this past weekend in Sterling NY and before we arrived at the cabin stopped in... for the tasting. Alought I was a was a bit disappointed the winery was out of the Mandy's giggle wine I was pleased with thewhite wines. We bought a bottle of the dry resling. Refreshing and delicious. My husband prefers reds and the reds available fortasting suited his pallet. We enjoyed the Payella Bay festival Colloca Winery hosted during our weekend stay. The seafood andmeat Payella was delicious sangria wine was refreshing and I loved the idea of a spoon came with your glass to scoop out theWatermelon and blueberry fruits. The music was excellent. Gorgeous facility and grounds. Tried to sample best selling wine - not available. Tried to order lunch a little after noon -... told to wait. Tried to order a drink from the outdoor bar - no bartender. Too bad. We visited on a Friday. Read more
Very enjoyable afternoon. Wine tasting followed by a glass of wine and a beer then delicious pizza. Wine is well done. Wine bar... offers their wines plus a good variety of ales/beers. Wood fired pizzeria and more for when hungry. Very friendly service allaround! Read more
A small group of us visited the winery today for wine tastings. We were not part of the Holiday wine event going on so we were... surprised when we had our wine tasting poured into plastic shot glasses. I would not have any problem with this if we went totequila tasting however I would never pour the quality of wine this vineyard produces into plastic. Our group did buy theboxed red plus a couple additional bottles. We possibly would have bought more wine if the taste was enhanced in the properserving glass. My recommendation is to switch back to the flights and glass so one can appreciate the quality of your wine! Staff was excellent in accommodating our needs so I commend them! Read more
I stopped in here on a Saturday with a small group of people to enjoy the views and the good wine. We made a reservation for a... table, which was a good idea considering how busy they were! We were seated quickly and brought menus of their food andwine/cider options. They had a big assortment and offered flights of wine as well as cider or beer which was great. Our waitresswas funny and checked on us frequently and also knowledgeable about the food they served. We got a pear pizza and some calamarifor the table, you are also still currently required to order food. Overall I found it a little expensive for what you got, butit was beautiful inside and tasty. I'd just keep in mind that you're paying for the atmosphere. I'd recommend a stop in! Read more
