Wow! This place was fantastic! Def a hole in the wall I'm glad I found! We've been looking for a local Venezuelan restaurant and... this place is right on. The owner was super friendly and his food was even better. We had the steak special, with fried yuccaand pineapple cole slaw. The steak was super tender, and the flavor was fantastic. And you can't beat the prices. The housesauce is amazing and the owner said he's been making it for 22 years. Authentic and we will definitely be back!! Read more

Had a listing appointment with a referral client in Sterling, and they suggested we dine here. Admittedly I was still kind of... full from lunch, so wasn't starving, so was thrilled to see arepas on the menu. I had an arepa with shredded beef, black beans,and plantain, plus a side order of their pineapple coleslaw. My arepa was crispy on the outside and soft inside - perfectlybalanced. I also couldn't help but sample a few pieces of the wood-grilled steak from the husband's steak sandwich and I willabsolutely be getting the steak special our next visit. The gentleman who took our order, made our food, and continuouslychecked in on us while we dined was friendly and clearly proud of his cooking -- as he should be! Wonderful place with a familystyle feel. Excellent food and even better host and hostess. Visited with my family and sampled several items from the menu including:... beef, cheese, chicken empanadas, steak, cheese and mixed arepa, rice and black beans and blood sausage. Everything was freshand warm and tasted great. Will certainly visit again and will recommend to any of my friends. This was an awesome experience ???? The food and service were excellent, I had the Pepito sub. The steak and chorizo were so... flavorful and the sauce with potato sticks on top made this sandwich a top pick for me. If you're a meat eater like myself then you're gonna love thus place!! Grilled meat, it was cooked thoroughly but juicy, really... good taste not loaded with spices or condiments just right! I had the special which is 1/2 lbs of meat (either pork or beef)with 2 sides. I also had the cachafa (pic) per staff suggestion and it's my favorite ????. A tipical Venezuelan restaurant, they offer meat cooked on stakes, this way to cook, gives the meat a characteristic flavor.... Quality of the food is standard but fatty, flavorwise is good. A little pricey. It is located in a shopping mall with enoughparking. The area is safe. You have to order your food at the counter and you can sit wherever you want but nobody tell you andthere is no sign to guide you either as other restaurants have so, some work need to be done in Customer Service. Had Venezuelan food for the first time today and it was an incredible experience. The Arepas de carne really blew my mind due to... the smokiness of the steak pieces and how tender it was. I love sweet and savory dishes so I really enjoyed the cachapas conchicharrón. The chicharrón was perfectly crispy on the outside while tender on the inside. Met Carlos while I was there and hewas super warm and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back to try more from their menu ???? Read more
