I was excited about the new Thai option and its good reviews. We ordered takeout online. The owner was working alone and she... was handling order and cooking. Except for the Pad Thai, other dishes were OK. (Because of rush?) The shrimps in Pad Thai andtofu in Basil fried rice weren?t properly seasoned. Fried tofu was used in the basil fried rice which doesn?t work; we wouldenjoyed it without it. I would opt for other options. I will have to give another (or 2?) try before deciding on thisrestaurant. Update: Red curry was good. Read more

Man, talk about hole in the wall! At first glance, one would be sadly mistaken to skip over this unassuming Asian grocery store.... They seem to only sell some frozen items along with snacks and drinks, but look closer and find out they do serve a robust menuof Thai dishes. It seemed they were limited on staff as we noticed the host hustling in and out of the kitchen trying to keep upwith orders coming in, but rest assured, exercise patience because the food is freshly prepared with lots of care. She was veryfriendly and accommodating regardless. We had the chicken pad Thai, crab fried rice, and red curry. Each of them were home runs.We couldn't eat fast enough from how flavorful and delicious each of our dishes were, and as usual with Thai cuisine, REAL jumbolump crab meat is used in the fried rice which is a huge plus. The crushed spices at the table added the perfect depth of heatas well. If you're in the Sterling area, look no further than RiceBerry for Thai, you won't be disappointed and you'll leavewith a full stomach and big grin on your face. Read more

Stopped here for a spot of lunch on the way to IAD Dulles. Loved the food and hospitality. Its a good size market with kitchen... and small seating area under same roof. I ordered basil chicken fried rice (spicy) and it did not disappoint.. Authentictaste.. Also enjoyed the fresh summer role (I went with shrimp) Read more

I recently moved here from New York and I'm always in high lookout for good type places to eat. And I stumbled upon riceberry.... Which is near a Thai Buddhist temple. Going inside I found that they had a lot of things that I was looking for in terms of homecooking. For example the red curry had Thai eggplant in it as well as tiny mushrooms. The pad Thai was amazing, and the Kao Soiwas also amazing. It did not disappoint. And that's coming from a guy who really has a particular palette for Thai food. I don'tsay this enough when I find a place that's a gem in this area I would say riceberry is. I'd recommend you guys going out andtrying some of the dishes here not just the fried rice lol. Initially we came here for the fresh durian because I am a big durian lover. Then the owners are super friendly and recommended... some Thai dishes. We ordered boat noodle which is their best selling dish and stir fried pork and basil. I asked the Thai hotfor the pork basil. Both dishes were super delicious. We love them. BTW when you order $25 or more they give you a free drink. Igot a free Thai ice tea. Highly recommend! Read more
