Great steak and cheese. Also if you have time the pepperoni rolls are good too, not quite WVA but good anyway.

Generally an excellent place for pizza. Last night I got my order though and the cheese was burned and the crust was rubbery.... Don't know what the deal was maybe they are getting cheap. I'll try them again and if the food is average, I'll dip back intoemilio's. Read more

This is the third our fourth time I've tried Santini's and I've yet to find anything on the menu that's worth ordering. Their... menu is rather simple: subs, pizza, calzones. Their fries are tasty, if you're into thick cut fries. I find there are betterplaces for pizza and better places for subs very near by. The service is fine and there is always room to dine in. Santini's New York Style Deli located in Sterling, VA is reminiscent of the New York delis in many respects, but from an... ambiance perspective its not the same. Not to say that is a problem, I am very familiar with delis in New York. This deli islaid back and pleasant with a very friendly staff. The interior of it is better than any New York deli I've seen, so that's aplus. The decorative she of the restaurant is New York teams, so if your missing home you won't here. The pictures,pictures, andtelevisions running sports activities is not overbearing, but subtle so as not to alienate non-sports enthusiasts. Now, the foodis good, with a variety of choices of a local pizzeria. But be advised the servings are large, so you'd better come with anappetite. I ordered the Santini calzone with pepperoni, Italian sausage with ricotta cheese and mozzarella. It's large anappetizing especially with the Mariana sauce on the side served warm. Great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a bit busy for lunch, folks were seated and taking orders to go. I ordered... a lamb gyro, fries and a drink. It was all a la carte instead of a combo. Plenty of food to keep you full. Tasty, hot food. Theemployees were nice, pleasant and helpful. Read more
