This place is cheap and the food is great. There are about 20 types of coney dogs. Get the Phoenix dog and the red hot one. Not... a fancy restaurant but it might be the best coney place in Detroit. Read more
If you live or work near the VanDyke Ave. corridor between. 17 & 18 mile roads for any reasonable amount of time then you... already know all about this small restaurant. I can't remember it ever being anything else. I spent many late nights there withfriends. If you are a first timer you probably will not understand why we all love it so much around here. Back in the early 2000's this was the place we, as high schoolers, all went because it was always open, and the food was good... and cheap! The atmosphere and service remains the same. Deuces Wild is a great breakfast special. 2 eggs any way, 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 slices of toast, and 2 silver... dollar pancakes for $4. Add hash browns for $1.50. Good deal, all tasty. Only complaint is they only give one jelly packet withthe toast but will give another if you ask. Not enough of a complaint to change my rating, just enough to mention.
