Much better experience here. The manager, Lori could not switch my Birthday cake reward for an appetizer but gave me a coupon... for a free appetizer & gave me a coupon for my next visit. WOW!! Above & beyond! We have never had a negative experiencehere. Its a longer drive, but we will always come to this location. Our server, Tabby was extremely friendly, always had asmile, very accommodating. Our All you can eat Shrimp was very good. Only one serving was a bit over cooked, but ate it. My 1st time coming to the Red Lobster restaurant of Sterling Heights, Michigan. I normally go to the Madison Heights location,... but decided to go there since we left the building after my brother's appointment. The food was incredibly fantastic! The garlicbuttery biscuits were edible, but not as great as the one in Madison Heights was. The Lobster pizza me, my brother and my momhad for our appetizer was incredibly on par, along with clam chowder soup and garden salad! But other than that, the service wassuperb! Crab legs were cooked just right, mozzarella sticks were good. The sunset passion colada, is always to die for. Side of mashed... potatoes seems a little old and dry like it was the bottom of the pot. LOVED the waiter, so full of life! Read more

Not my favorite restaurant. I wasn’t impressed with the food unfortunately :-( I took a chance and picked the Wednesday... Special, a wild-caught lobster tail and a 7oz peppercorn-seasoned sirloin with two sides for $20.99 including two sides (pickedmashed potatoes and brussels sprouts.) The sirloin was just ok, nothing special. I guess, Red Lobster might not just be therestaurant to have a good steak, so I understand. The biggest issue was in the lobster. I do not know what caused this, but itwas not even possible to get the meat out of the shell. The pieces that I got out of it needed to be cut with a knife, they wereso hard. It was just cold, dry, hard, and although it may sound like the tail was uncooked, I believe it was actually overcookedand old. Mashed potatoes were also just OK, not too fresh. The best were crispy brussels sprouts; even though they were mostlyburned (as you can see on the picture) they were pretty tasty. Another plus was the service and a tasty Caesar salad that I hadas addition, but I am not sure if that can make up for things that weren’t as expected… :-( I do not think I will be backthere any time soon. My son wanted crab legs so we went for crab legs. We were so happy with our dinner and Austin took amazing above and beyond... care of us that night. Super friendly and accommodating he made our dinner out perfect. My son said he made the best chocolatemilk ever. Thank you Austin. As a former server myself and knowing what type of service I gave even in busy times I amgoing to critique wherever I go. When we go again for ???? we are going to ask for him!
