Wait times can be a bit lengthy due to its popularity. Usually very busy no matter the time or day we choose to go. The gift... shop items are very pricey for their quality, not really appealing to me. The wait staff is very friendly and usually quick butseem a little over worked. Some of them have a lot of tables to cover and don't get to give them all proper attention. The foodis ok usually, my most recent visit the bacon was very burnt. It's not 5 star worthy but passable for the low cost. Was very sadwhen they stopped using the frosty mugs for their lemonade, it was one of my favorite parts of the experience. Read more

Worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been to. Our food took forever and people who came in after us got there food before us. She... said our food would soon be out shortly well she had her hand on my shoulder. I was not happy with that I don?t like beingtouched. Next time she came out she brought biscuits and said here are some biscuits well you wait. It was a nice idea but thebiscuits were hard/burnt. Then our food came out cold after we waited a long time to get it. My eggs were supposed to be overmedium but one was over cooked and the other two were under cooked. Also my sugar ham was very dry with no flavor. Then shedidn?t come back to refill our drinks so I finished my food without one since she ignored us trying to get her attention forrefill. No doubt this place is popular! The foods are very satisfying and filling! We got the chicken fried chicken (with french fries... and fried apple), roast beef (with bake mac), and loaded potato which is super recommended! The bread was free. ???? Read more

Ate at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Stevensville, Maryland yesterday. It was extremely busy & we missed our call to be... seated but when we alerted the hostess she sat us immediately. As soon as we sat down our waitress was there to take our drinkorder. It took a little while to get our food but it?s the Cracker Barrel, it?s well worth the wait! We ordered the CountryFried Steak (with brown gravy instead of the white) & Meatloaf. Everything was delicious. I love that you can play a game ofcheckers before getting back on the road. I ordered dinner to be curbsided pick up. Ordering online is easy and convenient !! Called when we got there, 5 minutes before... assigned time. Then waited 25 minutes before calling again? just be told sternly we needed to call when we arrived !!! Iexplained we had already called and they said they would be right out!! Order was delivered to my car ?. AGAIN? RUDELY? Was told?with attitude? I should have called !! If I didn?t have a house full of people waiting for food.. I would have taken my foodback in and asked for a return. As it was the meatloaf dinner was tasty and delicious!! The sides were very small. Update: Although our last experience wasn't ideal, we have Cracker Barrel another chance. Today our experience was much better.... The food was great. The customer service was excellence. All in all, we really do like Cracker Barrel! We've eaten here afew times. Most of our experiences were great. Today, it was different. I don't know if the kitchen staff is new orunderstaffed or both, but our food was disappointing today. The ham was so over cooked, it was inedible. The side of cheesewas left somewhere hot and when it was brought out, it was literally burnt and molded to the bowl. Our waiter seemedoverwhelmed (once again new? or understaffed). Overall, today it came down to the quality of food and lack of service. Left alittle disappointed. The store and its beautiful decor was definitely the highlight! Read more

I actually love Cracker Barrel. I like the country store where I find lots of home decor and cute Christmas ornaments. I love... that the store is always decorated differently and there is always lots of neat things to look at and buy. I love that somethingis always in the sale section too. I have always ordered the Shrimp platter and nothing else when I go. I just think the shrimpare so tasty and I love the hush puppies and hash brown casserole. Don't get me wrong, this is not gourmet food, just good olddown home comfort food. My husband hates the chairs and says they are uncomfortable lol. However, we're never there long enoughfor me to notice. Their service is always good and fast, so you are in and out. Great place to stop when we are on road trips.It can get crowded on weekends, so try to go during off peak times. Read more

First time I didn't have to wait no longer than 5 minutes for a table. Waitress was wonderful, I wish I remembered her name.... Food was great, only my ham was cooked too long. Overall I enjoyed everything. My friend enjoyed his as well. Read more
