Good portions at reasonable prices. The wait staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. The... atmosphere is very relaxed and they make sure to keep tables far apart as well. The seafood is cooked state of Nayarit style. That has become one of the most popular styles in the Chicagoland area in the past few years. Some of my favorite dishes are theLevanta Muertos, Langostinos Nayarit, Ostiones Gratinados and the Empanadas de Camarón to name a few. You really can't gowrong with anything here. The bar is small but nicely decorated, with a very good selection of mix drink and Mexican beers. Theplace also appears to have live entertainment or a DJ on certain days of the week. Read more

Got my drink wrong and blamed it on me. Then ordered ceviche and we always get it the same way, cooked in lime not pre cooked,... boiled. We sent it back and asked for the shrimps to be cooked in lime and they brought them back in less then 2 min, stillgrey!!!! And completely raw and not even chopped up in small pieces. Never going back to this place ever again! Read more

The taste of the food was good. Most all shrimp platters are shell and head on, I'm okay with that. However, the shrimp were... overcooked which made it harder to peel and they were not deveined. The service was excellent! I just wish the food was cleanerand there were strict rules on the wearing of mask. People take them off at their tables and then wonder around without them. The employees do not wear them properly over the nose. I don't believe they wipe down the bottles or salt and pepper shaker attables, ours were gross. I mean the in of itself tasted good Read more

Service was good, came on a Sunday and place was pretty empty. Surprisingly. We had the langostinos charola and our son had the... kid combo. Langostinos has a good taste to them, a little dry compared to how I like them. Husband had a michelada which I didnot enjoy, but I'm sure other people do. Food came out quick. Maybe we'll come back on a day they have the dance floor open aswell. Read more

Horrible experience, me and my colleague decided to drop in for a quick lunch on our lunch break, unbeknownst to us what we... believed to be a good spot for not seeming busy and indeed not being busy early in the day (1 o?clock) , we were eluded as weended up waiting for 40 minutes to receive our plates! Never in a Mexican establishment have I ordered raw food (ceviche andguacamole) and waited 40 minutes! In comparison, a party of 6 which ordered what seemed to be deep fried fish and various otherdishes sat after us and ended up receiving their plates before US! We brought it up to the attention of our waiter and his onlyresponse was that we had to wait since ?it was a busy time? Sorry but 2 tables of 2 and a party of 6, for an establishment ofthis size shouldn?t be unmanageable, and to our disbelief, watching the party of 6 get their meals before us is absurd! Afterthe 40 minutes passed and we received our meals, the waiter was no longer seen. We watched the bus boy attentively service theparty of 6 and the other 2 tables, as we looked on with our water glasses empty. After finally realizing we weren?t ever to seeour waiter we finally flagged him down from the bar, as he chatted with what seemed to be close friends. We asked him if ourmeals could get wrapped and for the check, and after 10 more minute he finally came by and dropped off 2 to-go containers and abag. The very least he could of done was giving it to us rather than blatantly throwing it on the corner of the table andswiftly walking away before we managed to ask for more water. To top it off, the guacamole was indeed great, but the ceviche canbarely be labeled as mediocre, over seasoned with what seemed to be old bay spice, and made with un-veined shrimp (gross) andpre-cooked! If authentic ceviche and a quick lunch is on your radar please run! Wouldn?t eat here for free is offered! ???????? Read more
