This is how our expensive cocktails arrived at the table. A manager happened to stop by to see how things were just as we... received them. I asked why our drinks looked like someone had already enjoyed them. Told us that was a 5oz pour. He sent anothermanager over who offered to remake the drinks but said they’d look exactly the same. Warning of the skull, it’s hard as arock. Waitress was lovely, food was fine, two bone in ribs on top of Mac and cheese was weird way to serve. Not sure I’d goback. Read more

In town for business and stopped here for lunch. I love the atmosphere, vintage building and amazing food. Although the... description of my menu did not meet the flavor, it was still extremely tasty and I would order it again! Read more

A first visit to Brick & Bourbon in Stillwater and will definitely be back. Food and drink were tasty. Tried the Shaved Beef... Salad, side of Creamed Corn, and a crock of the Rueben Soup. Soup was piping hot like I like it and cheesy. We also had theBacon & Bourbon Flight which allowed us to sample various kinds. The Blackberry Smash was the highlight of the day. Our serverwas good and food came out with good timing. The only negative to our meal was the time we arrived. We came as they wereswitching brunch to lunch and had to wait about twenty minutes to be seated. They wouldn’t even seat us for a cocktail untilwe waited to order. Never had a restaurant do that. It was worth the wait though. Read more

This was a great meal from start to finish! We chose to eat at the bar. Mom had a cocktail and we started with duck bacon... wontons. Don't be scared off by "duck," even if you've never tried it before-- you won't know the difference, and the flavor isphenomenal! The order comes with 6 large wontons and I had to stop myself from eating a third to save room for dinner. Mom hadbeef medallions for dinner; I went with macaroni and cheese with mushrooms. Both were excellent, flavorful, and generous portionsizes. The garlic toast served with the pasta felt a little stale (did it stop me from dunking it in the cheese sauce and eatingthe whole dang thing? It did not...). Good service and reasonable price (about $85 for app, 2 entrees, a glass of wine, acocktail, and a soda). I didn't try it, but they have a smoky old fashioned that they serve in a glass case filled with smokethat you allow to dissipate before drinking. We watched a few other people order these at the bar and it was fascinating andwould be a super fun thing to experience if an old fashioned is your thing! Read more

Brick and Bourbon never disappoints. Kayla and Grace provide a great experience. The Brussels sprouts and the shaved beef salad... are by far my favorites on the menu. The bar selection is great and they can make a mean Bloody Mary. Read more

For those not interested in reading my long winded reviews: In my opinion, Brick & Bourbon has taken very generous liberties... with the descriptions of some of their menu items. So, buyer beware. Be prepared to pay a premium for something fairly basicthat may not meet your expectations. And be prepared to pay a surcharge if paying by credit card, as some other businesses havestarted to do as well. Perhaps I will adjust the rating if the menu descriptions change to more accurately reflect the menuitems served. My group of 4 visited the Stillwater location on a Saturday. I loved the look of the interior with the whiskeybarrels between the overhead beams. We were promptly seated in an alcove area overlooking the front sidewalk. Shortly after ourdrink orders were taken even though two of us had not had time to look over the extensive menu as only one was provided. Notreally an issue though. The cocktails were pricey but interesting. My daughter ordered the Smoking Gun Maple Old Fashioned($15). The presentation was excellent as the cocktail was difficult to see under the smoke filled glass dome. Check out mypictures to see it. I ordered the Elder Fashioned ($12) which was not presented as dramatically but just as tasty. Likewise, theBite the Bullet cocktail ($12) and the Alesmith Nut Brown beer ($7.50) were less dramatic but enjoyed none the less. A littletoo expensive for a beer. I had a difficult time ordering from the menu as many items looked appealing. Same for my SIL but wemanaged. I ordered the St Louis Rib Mac & Cheese. I was tempted to get wings but the description of the "roasted ribs piledhigh" better matched my appetite. This is where the disappointment started. The mac & cheese came with 3 small ribs set on top.I have seen this dish prepared elsewhere with a generous portion of shredded meat on top. Not here. Not even close to beconsidered "HIGH". And one of the ribs was just as much cartilage and gristle as it was "tender" rib meat. Did it ta Read more

We only were inside but sat on the upper level. Surprisingly not as loud a one would think up there. The food was fantastic, got... the last bacon plate. Had the Elk and Boar sausage with onions and special sauce, and it was delicious. Everything we've hadhere has been a great treat and worth the trip. Read more

Most food came out cold, and would have been much better if served warm. Also, served water with dirt/wood flecks in it. We were... seated outside and not a great environment. Short Rib Ravioli was certainly the best. Very enjoyable. Also recommend the southwest cream corn as that was a great side. The pheasant was fine, but at $23, it was just expensive chicken at that point. Thesliders were not good. Might have been better warmer. Mac and cheese was dry, and would have been creamier if warm. So not ourfavorite. 2 star - Not great, lower value Read more
