Was very disappointed with the experience last night. The table surface was sticky and everything, including the menus, stuck.... My champagne was lukewarm (not easy to drink) and the risotto was very "gummy" and lacked more than three pieces of tenderlointips. The best thing about the meal was the panna cotta. The service was also very good. We were entertaining an out of townguest and were disappointed. It has been awhile since we've visited and feel that something has changed. Love this place! Always great food, great service, and great wine. They accommodated a big party in the back room and helped us... with a take-home wine purchase in the wine store. Best in fall-winter, but additions to patio a plus for spring-summer outdoordining. If your thing, suggest a cocktail before dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants. Read more

My husband and I went last Friday night as part of a date night/staycation (we were staying at the Rivertown Inn and they offer... a package bundle). The food was amazing including the dessert. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Shewas clearly super busy but really gave us personal attention and explained all the food and wine pairings in detail. We loved this place! We actually went there because we read a one star review about what sounded like a rude person complaining... which turned out to be true. Our waitress was fantastic and one of the owner's with the beard and tattoo (the person the rudereviewer had complained about) took the time to come over and talk to us and we got a few pictures with him and our waitress;really fun. The wine was very good and we found all the items that we got...flatbread pizza, my husband said the best he hasever had, the salad was fresh and delicious and the tuna was great. My husband and I came here for our anniversary and had an amazing 3 course tasting menu, each wonderfully paired with a glass of... wine. The scallops were absolutely amazing, I definitely recommend giving them a try. The service was great as well, and thelocation is perfectly near a nice walking area right near the water.
