I just stopped at Trailside food truck on a Saturday afternoon. I was riding my bike and I felt a chill so I decided to stop and... get some warm food. The two young women were very friendly and extremely polite. One of the women asked how the trail was todaywhich I thought was very nice. I ordered a hotdog, fries and a diet soda. The food was ready very quickly and it was the perfectcure for my chills. Go to the Trailside food truck when you are riding the Gateway Trail! Read more
Great to have this food truck right on the Gateway Trail. Tried it today. My hot dog looked like the wrinkled charcoal-y ones... that have spun overnight on the grill at a convenience store but tasted ok. The fries had also been in oil twice, once to cookand then to warm up. But my expectations were realistically low and Trailside met them. Read more
Oh my goodness!!! The food is spectacular- our family of five (with kiddos age 2-5) LOVE the egg and chicken sandwiches along... with any of the lemonades. What really makes Gateway Trailside remarkable is the service. The kindness and welcoming spirit ofthe owner is like having a wonderful meal with a great friend. Read more
We go out of our way to get snacks and drinks at this spot when on the Gateway Trail. I absolutely love the concept, scenery,... staff and selection they have. Yes, it?s a tad pricey, but it?s the best option on the trail and a great place for abreak. Also, they do take Apple Pay so you don?t need to worry about packing a credit card while on your bike if you have aphone you can pay with. Read more
Great spot to stop for a flavored lemonade or fresh juice and a bite to eat when you're on the Gateway State Trail. They also... have ice cream and root beer floats. Read more
What a super fun place to stop while biking on Gateway Trail. We had totally delicious fresh-made peach lemonade. Next time will... try the tacos. The whole menu looks yummy. It's a wonderful spot to stop, relax and enjoy great food and beverages. Nice shadyeating area too. Read more
The most pleasant surprise to feel completely lost with my daughters this last mothers day, when we came upon an outhouse in the... middle of nowhere on a dirt road. What a relief... and since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to go for a walk down apath nearby. Where just around the bend...low and behold a beautiful sight! A well cared for little hole in the woods diner withcomfortable tables and the best blt. Basil strawberry drinks and my beautiful daughters by my side. A house stable in the view.It was the very best mothers day I've had in all my 21 years of being blessed to be called mamma. Love this place. And loved youjust can't find it. We went out of our way to finally check out this cute cafe! It was such a pleasure! Very kind women working, spectacular iced... coffee, yummy ice cream and unique/healthy but delish juice! I recommend you stop here when they are open on the weekends! It?sa fun place to hang and play a game of tic tac toe as well. Can?t wait to try some of their food next time! Read more
