My wife and I went here for dinner. We made the reservations 24 hours in advance so we could do the fondue dinner. We both had... never had fondue before. We loved our experience. Our server,Kevin, was super nice and was willing to give us advice on ways todo it. He was also the right amount of attentive. He was the only one working the room that we were in and it really seemedliked He cared that everyone was having a good meal. The dining room was beautiful too. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and the Lowell Inn exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful and so charming... we didn’t want to leave! The staff are so friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent! We cannot wait to stay again.Would 100% recommend to anyone. Way better than staying at a modern day hotel any day! Such a gem! Just toured the hotel, I would stay here. The lobby and public rooms are worth a look. Some historic things, and an incredible... collection of wood carvings. They also have a tea, I believe from 11am till 2pm that looks awesome. A couple of friends went andwere impressed. Worth a stop if you're nearby. Read more
I could not have had a better experience at the Lowell Inn. From check in to check out we were treated with the highest degree... of service. After we were done with our stay, we were able to leave our luggage on location to explore Stillwater. We alsotried the tea service which included desserts. This on it's own was fantastic. Our server managed to adapt the menu for ourfriend who is vegan, on the fly! That really made the experience hit above expectations for me. Awesome hotel with lots of history. Everything we tried for food was great and we loved the history and presentation of the... building. We walked around to look at all of the custom woodworking in the building and it was incredible. The people at thedesk loved telling us about the building and the city of Stillwater. Stayed in one of the newer rooms, but the room was musty smelling. The room didn’t have a coffee machine, microwave or... refrigerator. For one night, it came out to $300, so i would’ve expected the room to have at least those things. The frontdesk actually stored some of our food in their fridge, which was nice! We liked our balcony and loved the location of the place!Close to all the action. They had pull down shades, but it didn’t really block the light at all, so it was very bright whenthat morning sun hit our window. I was up at 7 because the sun was so bright in our room Read more
We were there for a wedding. Everyone was very happy with the venue for the wedding. The staff was awesome. They all knew there... roles and they executed them very well. They have a great outside area for a wedding ????. The Buffet line for the food wentquickly the food was delicious. And then there was CAKE, AND CHEESECAKE. Yum Yum ????.
