I asked for spicy chicken they didn?t it took forever for it to come out and I asked for extra spice packets
We had the fish it needed to be washed before cooking and the french fries were cold. The slaw tasted old.
I really do like the food, especially the golden roast chicken and the fish is also good. Service is lacking though, there were... a couple of times when I returned home and found an item or two missing. I've never been inside. Read more
The Stillwater Golden Chick is clean and the food is hot and fresh. I have been to others in Guthrie and items like fried fish... are precooked and have been under a heat lamp. At the Stillwater store the fish is fried when ordered and is hot. I had thethree piece fried fish (generous portions) cole slaw and hot roll and was very happy with what I had. Read more
Unfortunately this is the worst Golden Chick that I have ever been to. I love this chain, but won't be eating at this... establishment. They don't make anything after an hour before closing such as more sweet tea, more French fries etc and they willtell you that the manager said they are not going to do it. They ALWAYS forget something in your order if it isn't a smallorder. This time it was silverware, (hard to eat mashed potatoes and gravy without utensils) last time it was straws etc... Youcan just tell that they really don't care about serving you, or getting it right, they just want the day to be over. It'sunwelcoming, and very unprofessional. Horrible! Every single time we go through the drive through the order is wrong. This time ordered 8 pieces of chicken and given... 3. That is not the problem. The issue arises when the staff ignores you when you try to explain the issue. CANNOT GET THIERATTENTION! The guy was too busy telling his friend he needed a prize for doing such a good job at work while I am trying to talkto him through the window. Finally had to leave and go elsewhere to feed the rest of my crowd. While the food is good, theservice is horrendous and not worth it. Better off driving to OKC or Tulsa for a different location. They sold us food that we couldn?t eat due to it being cold and hard as a rock. When we spoke with management she let us know we... could just go somewhere else to eat from now on and she wasn?t going to make it right. We eat here very very often and has neverhad a bad experience until now. I guess they don?t care if they have a place to go to work in a world that?s falling apart. Ilet her know it?s fine with me?. They're really fast, their fat is fresh, not rancid like most fried food in Stillwater. Its great when you can't decide what you... want for dinner. Don't much care for the rolls: too much sugar! Read more
