Went in last night with my significant other. We ordered salads, mac n' cheese bites and then a large pizza (big country and... margarita.) We were quickly greeted when we came in, sat quickly and our drink order was taken. The only critiques I would give- is please remember to bring plates to the table for apps and then the large pizza came out incorrect. It came out cheese andmargarita. However, the staff was quick to rectify the pizza mess-up and provided us with a hot, and fresh Big Country! Weappreciated that! Overall, great food and the service was good too! The thin crust pizzas are delicious, particularly their Margherita! I am Italian and this place does a very good job at... replicating Italian thin crust. The service is also great, we have had a great and responsive experience each time. Highlyrecommended! Read more
Food is great, deserves 5 stars for flavor. Service however is lacking. I have never once had a good experience with the staff... at this particular location, seems they're hiring college kids who don't care about actually doing their jobs and just thinkthey deserve to be paid to stand around talking to their friends. Have gone twice to this location, both times had to track downa waitress/waiter myself as I guess social skills don't get taught to kids anymore and they were just walking past our tablewithout acknowledging us at all- On each trip this included our would-be server, too! First time I was there we were treated tohearing some young girl loudly quit or be fired during the shift, which happened to be our waitress, that left us with noservice until (I believe the manager?) an older employee came to us for refills and the bill. Both times our order was wrong. Iunderstand it may be hard to hear in a loud environment but these kids can pick out what their buddies say at a Football game orin a night club so there's no excuse to turn your ears down during your job shift. When served incorrectly (both occasionsordered 2 large, was given 1 small 1 large coincidentally each time) they tried to offer everything other than simply going backand remaking the food properly. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about my guest and I wanting the food as we ordered itand not some combination of substitutions that these kids think somehow fixes the issue because the obviously only solution isto just give us what we are asking (and going to pay) for. Great food, but I highly recommend avoiding the dine-in entirelyuntil the modern young people who are staffed here are pulled from a group that isn't so lazy and uncaring. Read more
Great pizza restaurant that I believe started in 1957. we Asked our server for recommendations as we are from out of town and... never eaten there. She recommended the fried mushrooms. They were stellar! light seasoned batter served popping hot with ranchdipping sauce. Warning you must cut them in half. they were so juicy but would burn your mouth even after several minutes ofresting. large bowl and reasonably priced. Next we were really struggling with what pizzas to order as the starter was filling.The waitress told.us we could order 1 pizza with two entirely different toppings. we chose the Little Kahuna and the pestochicken. Amazing. crust was cooked beautifully, lots of well.seasond chicken on both halves and just all around delicious. theKahuna had Garlic olive oil sauce, chicken, artichokes sun dried Tomatoes and feta cheese. the pesto had a really fresh basilpesto, chicken, bacon and pizza cheese. we will definitely go back. Great ambiance, great servers and great Pizza! The pricing is very reasonable. If you wanna go all out and gorge gluttonously on... a scrumptious individual pizza, I suggest trying the Big Country, size: Small. For the service and well crafted Pizza, a 30%tip is well deserved. We came today to watch the home coming parade. After walking around, we decided to stop at Hideaway for pizza. The just open, so... the line was down the sidewalk. We actually got in after 10 minutes of waiting. The service was really good. We ordered a largepepperoni pizza, and 2 mini pizzas. 1 pepperoni and 1 Canadian bacon. We also ordered garlic cheesy bread. The cheesey bread wasa disappointment. There wasn't much cheese, and it seriously needed to be toasted longer. Not good. The pizza was great though. Read more
Great food here! The portion sizes are awesome and out of all the Hideaways I?ve been to none make their pizza like this!
