we were in Stillwater,Ok for couple of days, and found this hidden gem. Excellent tasting indian food. Had both vegetarian and... chicken dishes, with naan and rice, were freshly made, spice level exactly as requested. Great taste to the dishes. Biryaaniboth chicken and lamb were very well made, with lots of meat with the rice. the lassi's were very good and refreshing. Gulabjamuns were great, very fluffy and not too sweet. Very good service by the family that runs the show. chef was very nice to talkto, appreciates his work and making people happy with his food. I have eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants all over the US, butnever expected to find such good tasting food in a small town. To top it all, the prices are very very reasonable, in this dayand age of high inflation. If you ever head over there, would strongly recommend visiting this restaurant. Read more

First time trying the restaurant and will likely be back. It is a bit expensive, but the serving sizes are good, and it tasted... great as well. It wasn't spicy to me personally but likely would be for others who have lower spicy tolerances. The (I assume)cook said it can be made spicier and was being cautious in case I was being overzealous with asking for it extra spicy, but nexttime I plan to try a much hotter version. That said, it tasted really good at the less spicy level. Everyone was friendly and itwas a great experience Read more

Traveled to Stillwater for Basketball game. Opted to try this place out as we dont have a Himalayan restaurant back home. Plan... was to gett take out to eat back at hotel prior to game. From some of previous reviews, I expected place to be dirty or smellinside. It didnt. We wanted to try Mo Mo, but unfortunately they were out of those MoMo "dumplings' that night. That was a bitof a disappointment and owner said they needed to make more and would have them next day. The food we did order was much betterthan we anticipated from reviews. I will include photos of dining area and out take out items. We wanted to go to resturant toask questions and clarify by ordering in person rather than on line. When we arrived a few minutes after 5pm, (when resturantsre-opened for dinner) the cook was ready busy making several online and delivery orders ahead of ours. The owner told us itwould be at least 20 min on our order. took about 25 min. Ordered Navratan korma, pear (sweet) naan, tandoori chicken. Mangolassi and mint lassi Only item we did not like was mint lassi, just wasnt a good flavor combo for us, personally. My husbandthought the tandoori chicken was some of the BEST he has ever had. The drumsticks were HUGE, seasoning flavorful My korma wasalso excellent, tasted fresh and temperature was hot. Portion size good. Food wrapped well to go. I wish this resturant was inmy hometown My tip, would be order ahead, use online menu if possible to avoid ling wait. Even with wait, it was worth it! Ownerand female shop clerk friendly. You have to walk to the back of grocery store to "enter' resturant. Expected broken English andheavy accent here. Thank you, we enjoyed it. Hope to try MoMo some other time if and when in town again. Best tasting Indian food in Stillwater, Friendly owners who always greet you with a smile - only store that sells Indian... groceries in Stillwater. Have found some interesting food and desserts from different parts of the world here, that I liked aswell such as Kalijeera rice and Turkish Halva. They carry all the South Asian essentials (India/Nepal/Bangladesh). Make sure youcheck expiration date on the products though - since they have limited staff they might not be able to keep all shelves up todate. Read more

I ordered the food today through Doordash. We are vegetarian and yes, it was delicious. A dollar or two expensive, but the... quantity was good. Paneer is so soft and Naans are fresh. I liked the gulab jamun as well. Jeera rice was the cherry on top ofit. They went above and beyond in packaging as well. A great experience! Will reorder soon. I wish they did some offers forrepeat customers. If the rate was a dollar or two less, more Indian folks will start ordering it, for sure. Thanks HimalyanKitchen. Read more

The food is excellent. I have the opportunity to eat Indian food as my students (natives of India) often bring me dishes. This... tastes exactly the same. I love it. The food is spicier than what most people would be used to, though not as spicy as what mystudents typically make. I will be returning. Read more
