I am not a vegan nor a vegetarian. I LOVE eating meat, but this place was actually surprising delicious. The sandwich was fresh.... The fries were freshly fried and very crispy and seasoned well. The chocolate cake was extremely good (wanted the raved aboutcarrot cake, but they were out). Overall, very good. Price was a bit high, but it was interesting to try a vegan spot as anon-vegan. Man..where do I start?? I'm not vegetarian nor vegan, but sometimes meat is just too much for me. Being in oklahoma now, it's a... hit and miss with good food conscious cuisine. I don't even risk my time or money any more.. However, I've been waiting weeks totreat myself to Beets' and I am in NO WAY disappointed!! It's 52° outside and these beautiful souls were willing to walk myorder out to me. This whole bowl is filled and deliciously filling! I ordered the Coconut Shrimpless Tacos this time. Fresh,flavorful, cold and crisp veggies. Hot, crunchy crusted, sweet Coconut "shrimp". All wrapped in a perfectly toasted tortilla. Ican't wait to go back and try the next dish! I am personally not Vegan but like being more food conscious and trying new things to expand my views and this place was... amazing. Such kind and amazing people work there, even had a treat for my doggo! I had the Chicken-less sandwich with the garlicherb fries, a sweet tea and their mason jar cakes. The toppings were so good and the patty had a nice crunch to it. The frieswere so golden and perfect and smelled amazing, tasted even better. Sweet Tea was on of the best tea's I have had. Having spent years in California, vegan dining has always been more about animal rights than a flavor experience. It was... refreshing to be introduced to a vegan food truck in the heart of cattle country that offered vegan food as a flavor alternativerather than a health or PITA challenge. I decided to order their spicy chickless sandwich. As much as I want to give 5 stars toexperience, I have to take one star away for the cost of the food. Everything else, from customer service to food quality wastop notch. With a recent rebrand, the dynamic duo running this new venture have almost mastered their craft in only a year ofoperation. I?ve never liked the idea of vegan food. Why eat something that looks like meat but isn?t meat? I was starving and was just... passing by so I said screw it I?ll stop. I got the chicken less sandwich, garlic fries and a piece of carrot cake. Let me tellyou that it was amazing. Does it taste like chicken? Yes and no.
