Greeted warmly by both the lady at the door and our server who was hilarious! Attentive and smiling the whole time. Lovely to... have some haggis, neeps and chips while my friend had the Scotch pies with neeps and yam fries! ( generous portions meant weboth have lunch for today) Read more

Pleasantly surprised! My meal wasnt nearly as dense as I thought it would be. Still not sure what "neeps* are, but know I don't... care for them very much. The Yorkie bowl, on the other hand, I cared a great deal for! Steak was tender and juicy, Yorkshire wascrisp and delicious... Hearty gravy and mashed potatoes... Rounded out by their Scottish "flyte" of beers. All told, a verysatisfying meal! Read more

The food was tasty, but the veggie pot pie could have been more heartier (personal opinion but would've subbed the edamame/red... pepper for peas/mushrooms/chickpeas/cauliflower). Overall, we had a good experience and our server was so kind and helpful, sowould definitely recommend and return. Also, heard that they may be bringing more veggie options in the future (like vegetariangravy for the poutine)! So that's something to look out for next time :) Read more

The atmosphere was delightful and the food was fantastic. I had the Cajun pan seared fish with neeps and it was amazing. The... dill tartar sauce was delicious. Was a very pleasant surprise for a Sunday night dinner. Read more

Just moved to the area and tried The Glen around 2pm on a Wednesday. I was SO surprised by this place! The staff I met were... easily the warmest and most welcoming I've ever encountered, so cheery and enthusiastic. I tried my first ever Scotch Egg. Itwas quite good, the house-made tomato marmalade was odd yet it worked well with it. I really don't know much about Scottishcuisine, but I had thought a Scotch Egg was supposed to be runny yolk'd and unpierced, this one was hard yolk'd and sliced inhalf - a nice presentation. The Yorkie Pie was phenomenal, it's gravy was top notch. Entirely satisfied with this place, Iexpect I will return many times. Give it a try. Read more
