Ambience was good, food was decent bit service was terrible. Slow and uninterested staff. One staff member stood and chatted at... the bar with a patron the entire time we were there, bartender ran around trying to do everything and food took forever to getto our table. The speed is ridiculously slow. This is the 3rd time I've been here with unreasonable service. I thought the first 2 times were... flukes because it was busy but it's not. This time the bar had 6 tables and dinning area had 4 tables. Clearly understaffed nomatter when you go. Guests who sat down after us were almost done their meal. Over an hour waiting and food still wasn't out.Paid for our drinks and left. Unless you sit in the bar area you will not be served fast. Go to Darcy's or Barley Mow instead. Went on a Monday at 5:20pm. Waited 1hr. 25 min. for microwaved food and they only had a handful of tables with customers (1/7th... of the indoor tables and the patio was empty). In reading the reviews it seems that people enjoy the service... But our waterswere never refilled and we were only checked on 3 times during the entire 2hr. stay. Overall, this is a bottom of the barrelplace with overpriced microwaved food and basic service. We will not be returning. Read more

Our first visit to this location. Right across from Giant Tiger on Hazledean. I didn't realize it was there. Great spot for... lunch. It has both inside and outside dining. We sat in but the flies at our booth were terrible. We moved from that spot tomore in the middle and we still had a few. I asked for some fresh mint ???? leaves to help get rid of them but they didn't haveany. I realize this is a pub restaurant, so house flies and beer ???? go hand in hand but you need to take care of this issueasap! We'll be back though, hopefylly no more flies! The grub... Went to celebrate a graduation. We were thankful they were able to take us in without a reservation as many other restaurants... were full. We were seated in no time and the wait staff were lovely and polite. Only leaving 4 stars as it took quite a whilefor our food to arrive. Read more

Tried their wings special today. Medium size wings. Took awhile to be served and got one pound of wings for one person and it... wasn't that busy. The waitress was jolly and helpful. However, kitchen got my order wrong so they promo another pound forfree...but still got the wrong sauce but I didn't say anything because I already had to go. With tax and must have a drink cost$12.50. a little high to me. Wow, went back to check it out after a year of covid. $25 for wings and a coke. Could of had asteak for that price! And was extra charge for a small container of sour cream.. really? Shouldn't that come free at thatprice? Read more
