Reviews for The Borscht Belt in Stockton, NJ
This place is an absolute gem. Came on a busy Sunday afternoon, and our food came out fast and served with a huge smile from the... owner, Nicky. The pastrami sandwich gives Katz’s Deli a run for its money, the and the baked salmon was amazing. Thesandwiches range from classic Jewish deli staples, to creative mashups of flavors from around the world. Props too for bringingin fresh bagels from Ess-A, the best bagel place in NYC. Will be coming back here every time we’re in the area… and makesure to finish your meal off with a rugelach! Read more
My girlfriend took me to this fabulous deli for my birthday. My turkey Reuben sandwich was delicious as was my friends meal. The... staff was outstanding and it was nice to meet Nick the owner. It's a cool place and next door is a liquor store so you buy abottle of wine and you can bring it into the deli. We will definitely be back Thank you continue success! Read more
The best turkey I’ve had in a deli sandwich! Turkey breast is cooked in-house. Delicious! Wonderful selection of lox, too. ... Attentive, friendly service. Enjoyed talking with Chef Nicky. He’s California’s loss and Stockton/Newtown’s gain. Eagerto follow his successes in our area. Read more

We just had an early lunch at The Borscht Bekt and it was out. of. this. WORLD!! ???????????? It took us a while to get there... but we are so glad that we made it! Chef Nick and his team have built an incredible NY style Jewish deli that will be a fixturein Stockton for years to come. My wife had The Pines (Pastrami cured salmon, honey mustard, horseradish cream cheese and redonion on toasted caraway seeded rye) which she said was “the best sandwich of her entire life!” ???????????? I had TheJerry Lewis (Triple Decker of thinly sliced roast turkey, cole slaw, swiss cheese & russian dressing on rye) and it was also anabsolute grand slam ???? Can’t WAIT to get back there ASAP and try more. Read more
The bagels are really good. This is my go to spot. I don't recommend getting the cream cheese on the bagel. They over charge... you for cream cheese. I was really disappointed when I was charged $2 for plain cream cheese on my bagel and there was barelyany cream cheese. The everything bagel with cream cheese was $4. Read more
Best Jewish deli outside NYC! I love small towns because you find such treasures! This sandwich is the Kellerman. Not cheap... but not expensive. This is the family that owned those Jewish hotel resorts in the Catskills in the mid-late 1900s! WhereDirty Dancing was set. Will definitely definitely be coming back here! Read more
