The staff was rude and not attentive at all and we weren't there during a busy time. I was nervous about the food when they gave... us a book size menu because most places with such a huge menu lack in quality of food. Should've gone with my gut the beefnachos and beef taco had absolutely no flavor the pork tamales were disgusting and the only thing halfway edible that our tableordered was the queso and chicken flauta.They have ceiling tiles that will kill anyone's appetite and soap dispensers in thebathroom were completely disgusting. If you're ever in the stone mountain Georgia area you should really go to this Mexican restaurant. They have really great... authentic Mexican food. The tacos are very good they serve it with cilantro onions and meat. The beans cheese and rice comes ina separate container. I always ask for flour tortillas instead of corn. that's just the way I like it but to each their own. Youget 3 tacos for like $10 and you'll be full after the first one. there's always a downside to every good thing. They do not haveBerea tacos. But everything else is on spot. The food is always excellent , I always try to make it at least once a week since my daughter told me about them. After I finish... working for the evening I have my daughter to call my order in advance. I have never been so humiliated . After dining in when Iwent to pay for my order. I literally watch the young male employee take my 100.00 bill put it under a stack of money and giveme change for a 50.00 . My purpose was to change the 100 to give a generous tip as I always do. Because the service is sogood and waitress looks like my granddaughter. It was a very uncomfortable situation. I ask to speak to the older gentleman itwas getting heated he returned the 100.00 and I appreciate how he handled the situation. It was not a mistake by no means what asad way to lose a customer. This used to a staple dinner for my family in the early 2000s and it still holds up ENTIRELY! I was a little worried since I... hadn?t been since i was a kid in like 2006, but this was phenomenal. I've been to 3 of the El torrero restaurant and the menu is constantly the same and excellent. They have healthier choices and... their foods not all greasy the way many Mexican restaurants are. All of the dishes that I have experienced are very tasty. Read more

I gave El Torero a second chance since I absolutely love mexican food & I was visiting the state & stone mountain area. Once... again, money wasted. Appalled is an understatement. Not only was my food tasteless, my order was incorrect. I was alsoovercharged. The salsa was the only food item that tasted ok but not amazing. I'm disappointed in the chips. The rice is bland &the beans are muy mal/ very bad. I ordered a vegetable burrito sin queso/ no cheese, which wasn't done correctly the first time.Why was I charged for a meat burrito?!? . I have to discard the "meal". If you have tastebuds that function properly, you & yourtastebuds will be upset if you visit El Torero. I added salt to no avail. The only positive I must share is that your ordercomes out quickly. I will not revisit when visiting & I highly do NOT recommend.
