The food looks delicious but in reality the taste is horrible the salmon was blend no season in my food. The salmon was too... crispy and overcooked. And the price I paid for it was not worth it. Now my husband ribs was ok he loved his food. Salad with asalad it was bland nothing special. I can't say I'm very disappointed I have been to Metro Cafe diner before years ago with myfamily and the food was excellent. It said to come back after a couple years and have a horrible experience. The only savinggrace was the cake. The price for the cake was good compared to what I paid $10 for the other day at another restaurants. And Iwait or did not know anything about the menu. We kept asking questions he did not know and it kinda of made it frustrating forus. He kept messing up forgetting to bring food to the table. Blaming the kitchen about his mistakes he just did not do a goodjob as a waiter. With that being said will we return no I would never come back sadly the hope and dream of tasting good foodthat I've been waiting for years to taste was broken and disappointment. Read more
Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal? the staff members were friendly and even though they were short staffed our wait was... not long at all. Just know that if you have a party of five or more the gratuity (18%) has already been added and your receiptwill leave a tip section in case you want to add more money to your waiter. I did not like the key lime cake that my friendordered but I did like the key lime pie. They have a wide array of choices on their menu for entrées and desserts so definitelycome hungry and leave some room for dessert!!! Read more
My husband and I stopped here yesterday. The food is amazing! Atmosphere is chill . Restaurant is clean. Great place to stop and... have a great meal if you are in Stone Mountain! And the Park is less than 5 minutes from here! Read more
I absolutely loved this diner. Food was delicious. And the cake's! Wow! I wanted to try every one! $8.00 a piece. They had... Chicken Marcella on the menu & I had to try it! Soooo good ???? onion rings were awesome ????You can bring the whole family. Ohyeah & the atmosphere was pretty nice also. This place has some great food and customer service! They also have a big bakery counter that has giant cookies , cakes, and... cheesecakes that are awesome looking. I had the chicken wings there, and I would be going back there on a weekly basis if Ilived in that area. Overall, I would recommend making this a stop if you are in the area. Read more
What an AMAZING experience. We were staying in the area with limited travel options and this restaurant was right up the street.... Walking in the door you see a montage of desserts cakes and cheesecakes. While it was busy, the staff was friendly andattentive. Our server was phenomenal. He took time for each thing we needed even as he covered multiple tables. The food.....LOVED IT!!!! Portion sizes-great and taste-fantastic. It was enough that we are and took food back to the hotel. We were inStone Mountain 6 days we are there 3 days and I was able to enjoy leftovers for the other days. I highly recommend making a passthru. You won't be disappointed. Read more
An Exceptional Dining Experience!!! I like this location much better than the one downtown ATL. The restaurant was clean and... seating was not too close together. Our waitress was very professional and accommodating. She anticipated what we needed and wewere not left wanting. The food was tasty and the presentation was on point. We came for dessert but decided to share and entreeas well. An overall pleasant dining experience! We will definitely come again. I only hope we?re so fortunate to be hosted byour same server. I travel quite frequently with my job that takes me all over. When am at a different location I go on line read the reviews look... at the menu and pricing. The reviews were decent. Menu looked good and pricing reasonable. I was very much surprised thateverything on the menu was $5 plus more than it showed on line. Had the chicken Parmigiano and the chicken was way over cooked the sauce was favorable though. Did have a slice of cake and the $8 was well worth. Would i recommend this place ?? It wasjust okay nothing above average that would take me back. Read more
