My wife and I are from out of the area, we took chance and ate lunch here today. Got a good feeling as we were greeted by a... friendly host who commented on the TBird we drove there in. My wife had the frajita salad, and thought it was terrific andlarge enough to take some home. I had the fish sandwich on a roll, huge amount of fish, large, very soft roll, tartar sauce wasvery good as were the large serving of fries. Our server, Marlie was friendly and just attentive enough. came here with a few friends for an early dinner. it was dark and a little grungey inside, but seemed relatively clean - until... we sat down. the menus were sticky and all 4 of us were overwhelmed by the amount of options there were. we ordered the mac andcheese bites for an appetizer and they were mediocre at best. they tasted exactly like velveeta (which may be good if you enjoyvelveeta, but personally i am not a fan. especially when i am out to eat). for my entree i ordered a buffalo chicken grinder,and i was immediately not appealed upon seeing it. from looking at it, it appeared to be mostly lettuce, but i was not upsetabout this as i just took a little bit of it off. i WAS upset, however (or maybe slightly nauseated is a better word), about theseveral pieces of bone i chomped down on when i bit into the chicken. the first time i just spit it out and continued eating,but the second and third time was enough for me. i ended up removing the chicken and lettuce entirely and just eating cheeseand buffalo sauce on a piece of bread. without the lettuce and chicken on it it actually wasn?t bad, but at this point i was alittle grossed out from all the hard pieces i had bitten into, so i didn?t end up eating much more. to top off this sub parexperience, when i turned on the water in the restroom to wash my hands after i went, the tiniest dribble of water came out ofthe faucet. it was barely enough to rinse the soap off my hands, let alone properly wash them. i do have to say, the service wasgood; we were seated immediately upon our arrival, our waitress was very attentive and sweet, and our food was out of thekitchen relatively quick. however, the service doesn?t mean much when the food is slightly sickening. So I had stopped here for lunch after a client of mine recommended it to me and I have to say I'm extremely glad that I came.... The food was delicious and my picture doesn't do It justice. So after getting my lunch I realized that I had locked my keys inmy truck with it running (I'm a goof) so i came in and spoke with the wonderful waitress Kathy who was very polite and friendlyand helpful. She let me take up a corner table and assured me that it would be ok and that it was better then waiting in theheat, she even offered me a ice water since it was so hot. The hospitality she showed me was amazing. My experience here iswonderful and I'll definitely be coming back. Really expected a more positive experience. The first time we ate here, it was phenomenal! We have been back a few times... recently and it seems the customer service and quality of their food has taken a downward spiral. While I understand everyone isfocused on financials and rise of costs, the service and food quality shouldn't take a hit. If you're a local, you'll probablyreceive 5 star service but everyone else, it's not worth the drive.... Read more
